It takes 45-60 min after I turn on the machine to get the LED lights to come on and be ready to sew. I sew in a room which is ground level, but it doesn't matter the temperature outdoors -- it happens in warm weather too. I took it to the repair shop, but they found nothing wrong with it. Should an electronic machine need to warm up? I'm worried that one day it won't turn on at all. Any help out there?
I had the same problem with my Pfaff 1475CD. If I waited about an hour or so it would come on. I have read here and elsewhere that you should replace the (5) 22 microfarad 16V capacitors on the circuit board. I ordered capacitors from Amazon and did this since I have a little bit of soldering skill. It worked! Machine now turns on normally. Note: you must pay attention to the polarity of the capacitors when replacing them.

These folks are a great help, and being the folks whom built the machine will be the most qualified to access your issue.
