The back of the computer has a compartment that looks like a battery may fit...is it for a backlight..and if so what battery does it need . My computer screen is quite dim....just got the cross trainer 2nd hand. But even instructions dont explain.

If look closely on the flywheel usually you will see a magnet inserted in that flywheel the sensor is normally attached to and adjoining frame rectangular in shape with lead coming off of it.
