My Toshiba LCD suddenly started showing green pixels throughout the picture. It can really be seen in the darker areas. It will also outline dark areas with green pixels.

Does this only happen when watching TV? Or on every input on the TV?

Ensure the connections between your cable source and the TV are solid and in place. Let me know if this fixes it, if not we'll move onto other solutions.

We have a Samsung Plasma TV we were watching this when the screen just went black we have the audio and all other functions but no picture? Can you help?

Each pixel of a plasma television contains a red, blue and green phosper. These immite a flourescent light individually to produce a nice bright picture. The odds of all of these pixels dying at the same time is so slight, it is likely to never happen before the return of Christ. So your black screen is another problem. There is an ultroviolet light emitting photo that causes these other photons to give off light. My diagnosis without actually inspecting your unit, is that your ultraviolet photon generator needs replacement. These usually last in an excess of ten years so while it may be a costly repair, if you otherwise are happy with your unit, you may want to repair it. Your only other option is to replace it.

ESA 42" plasma tv not turning on

I have a 42 inch plasma and I was watching tv last night on it and suddenly it turned off on it's own. I tried turning it off and on and nothing happened. Then I tried to unplug it and replug it and nothing. My remote does not work either. Anyone know what exactly happened? Did my screen blow or what? I hardly ever use the tv and I only had it on from 8:30 p.m. - 10:20 p.m. and it turned off. All the other tv's in my house worked fine - I checked them. Also, my dvd player and cable box is on the same power cord and both of them work. Any solutions or help would be most appreciated!!! Does it just need to cool down or did I burn something out? Help!!!

Flashing power button

Depending on the number of flashes,it could be a power supply or y-sus board. Both parts are silly money. The flashing light indicates a fatal startup error. These units make a great boat anchor for a 16ft boat.

Samsung plasma PS42D5S

You need to adjust the panel voltages, adjust the VS voltage to around 186 volts, if that doesn't change it then adjust the V-Scan voltage down, turn the unit on and apply a video source to it, and while adjusting the voltages look at the screen and you should be abe to watch the video noise fade out.
