T-lock means it wants you to take it in, pay gobs of $$$$$$ to fix whats not broken, i popped the top, pushed tray out and use it that way, you gonna pay $150 just for them to do that when u paid $29 for a machine worth not even $1, sony is junk, is has and always will be.

Your system is in child lock mode. I had this exact problem this week. You need to put the system into standby mode and then press return, then enter then on/off and it will be unlocked.

Tray locked on sony dvp-ns77h dvd player

If the Sony DVP-NS77H DVD player displays "TRAY LOCKED" and you can't eject a disc or open the tray, try the following - First turn the unit off. Then, while holding down the eject, play and stop buttons simultaneously (on the front of the DVD player), turn the unit on with the '/O button (also on the front of the player). This released the locked tray for me.

I have a sony dvd player model dvp-ns305 i live in rhodes greece family send me films on formatted discs but my player says can not play this disc? can you give me advice or solution

If it plays other bought discs, then maybe your DVD player has been configured not to play pirated discs or the films weren't copied well.
