Error F35 for Konica seems to be "low fuser temperature" error.
Could be a sensor or the fuser unit itself.
You should also try turning off the unit for about 10 minutes (unplug) and then restart it.
Related with the heater. check two thermistors and other parts if the avery thing is ok then:
Reset code using 25 mode, dipswitch 3, bit 1 is the fuser reset command "0" is no and "1"for yes
presumably this means that if you must reset a fuser fault, you enter this mode, select dipswitch 3,select bit 1 and change no to yes , by pressing "ON"
The thermistor TH1 on the fuser unit is coming up as faulty this will cause your f-35-3 error
you can reset it in service mode 25 dip sw3 0 to 1 however i do not do this as there is an issue i would replace both thermistors and look at the fuser unit for wear if in bad shape replace the fuser unit assembly
Hi the error codes you are getting f-35-9 and f-35-3 are common error codes for this machine
First do not reset the machine using 25 dipswitch 3-1 until you resolve what is wrong
The errors are related to the fuser unit assembly parts
f-35-3 is the th1 thermistor
f35-9 is also an issue with th1
I can tell you that the thermistors th1 and th2 have been changed a nuber of years ago
you will need to replace them both also any other parts in the fuser like the web upper and lower clas adn rollers busings ect there is a fuser kit that you can purchase from konica it comes with all the parts to replace on the fuser unit
when replacing the parts on the fuser unit this must be done by a certified technician only
if you are not trained to do this leave it alone
The best option is to replace the fuser unit assembly and have it installed by a certified engineer you will save a lot on labour
Once the new unit or refurb unit is done you will need to switch of machine hold down 2 and 5 at the same time switch on the machine and then go into dipswitch 3-1 and change from 1 to 0
F35-7 is fuser error on a konica 7030. Resetting the fuser error might just fix your problem. First turn your copier on while holding down the 2 and 5 key. Next press 1 for soft switch setting, then press the left up arrow key to 3 and the right up arrow key to 1, now press the OFF key to change the data to 0 (it should read 3-1 :0)press return. Power the machine OFF/ON. If the problem persist then you most likely have a bad thermistor, however it can also be a bad heat lamp or thermistat.
My service info doesn't go back that far either, but this procedure should work to reset the code. However, I would make sure there's no toner build-up on the fuser thermistor or thermostat first, otherwise the code will reappear.
Here's the instructions on clearing the code:
Enter the 25 mode by holding down the 2 and 5 keys while turning on the copier. Press the P key, then enter 47, then press P again. Enter 0 and press the Print key. Turn the machine off/on to exit the 25 mode.
If the code reappears, then theres a problem. If it doesn't, you're good to go!
