Terminal is dirty inside and unit thinks that leads are connected to mA terminals and knob is at Volts,

Use compressed air to clean terminals and if that does not help use cotton bud with little alcohol on it to clean terminals inside. It will fix the problem.

Fluke 87 reads Lead and beeps on and off ,changed battery and still the same

If you select current measuring (A or mA) and have the test lead connected to V then you get this alarm. Same thing if you select Voltage measuring and the lead is connected to a current terminal.
Check the connections and the selector setting.

Fluke

Try using compressed air to clean terminal block plugs (specially mA plug) - something is stuck there and unit thinks that you have your leads connected to mA and setting and will beep if you turn knob to any other function.

Why always display ''lead '' fluke 88v

Fluke 88 V displays "LEADS" warning if test leads are in A or mA/uA terminals but switch position does not corespond with those terminals.

Remove all leads and if you still get "LEADS" warning try cleaning all terminals with air. Sometimes dirt gets in A terminals and unit thinks that leads are connected.

Use compressed air or airduster to blow dust from all terminals and hopefully that will fix the problem.

My playstaion 3 wont funell any picture through the av scart lead or the hdmi lead but it still turns on and is running fine ?

Please try the following steps :

Connect your PS3 up as normal, A/V or HDMI, it does not matter.

Turn the PS3 off into standby mode (red light on)

Press and hold the power button. It will beep when you first press it, then beep again 5 seconds later. Release the power button after you hear the second beep.

Wait for the PS3 display to be reset.

You can use this method when you change from A/V or HDMI, it simply resets the display back to standard definition

Hope this helps
