If you have IMEI no of your stolen phone then report it to your local operator to block the device. It is only your local operator that can block the phone.This makes your network provider to put your phone's IMEI no in a shared database called as an Equipment Identity Register (EIR) which reduces the threats of theft of handsets by enabling individual operators to prevent the use of stolen handsets in their own network.

Now to make the stolen phone inaccessible in other networks (service providers) also, your IMEI no is transferred to Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) which is a database of the IMEI numbers of blacklisted handsets. Once the device number is listed on CEIR, it wouldn't work with any of the network provider.

IMEI of any set can also be found by dialing the sequence *#06# into the phone. You're a bit late in taking the action. However, you can contact your network provider now, explain your situation and ask him to block the IMEI number. The network provider might want you to file a police report to ensure that the theft was authentic; so do that. Once listed, regardless of what network is being used on the stolen device, it won't work and the network provider will be able to trace the stolen cell phone.
The process can vary from city to city, however it's best to report theft to police and contact your network provider.

Ring your service provider if it was locked to them, give them the IMEI and your details they will block your Nokia phone.

The person that stole your phone will find that your phone has been barred and basically as useful as a rock.

If they try to unlock the phone at mobile phone repair shops they will be refused as the IMEI will be registered globally as stolen.'

If your phone wasn't locked to your service provider, there isn't any way to block the phone now.

Hi there.
Phone your service provider, tell them its been stolen, if its being used they will send a text to that phone which will disable it from being able to be used. As for tracking it has to have GPS installed in the original software.

how are you?? You should immediately contact your Network Service Provider and report the stolen mobile of yours. Just provide them the IMEI and then they can do it for you to block the phone and no one can use it.

you can contact your wireless carrier customer service center and tell them your phone is stolen, they will block the cell phone from being used.
