Qt 6100 keeps saying memory full when opening new table. how do i clear some memory?

You have to go to Z mode and reset open checks (open cheque report). It will clear all current checks but it will print the totals for you. Then you can use checks again.

To reset one of these machines, switch off using the power switch on the left hand side (under the flap). Hold down the button on the bottom right hand corner of the machine (should have a small light bulb symbol above it) and switch machine on (Ensure you keep holding the front button down). Release the button then press the "ok" box on the screen. Once the machine has restarted it will ask if you want to do "Flag Clear" or "Initiliazation". Use flag clear to reset errors. Initiliazation to reset the machine fully. Hope that helps.

you only connet a QT6000 with a QT6000

Sounds like the battery may not have been replaced on time. If so, it will have lost all programming. Best to see a dealer about this problem. ---------------------------------------------------

It will have a flat memory battery (or faulty if flat for long time). It will need a RAM clear and start again.
If you want to go through a reprogram from scratch, you should have the dealer manual with the settings after a full clear. The standard manual does not have the settings you need.

The QT-6100 screen saver is the same as the QT-6000. Allocate the screen logo in Scanning System. Create a bitmap image that is 800x600 and send it to the QT using CV-31. Flag clear the terminal and set the option in Display Control to show the logo at clerk sign off.

Hi. It sounds like the guest check memory is full due to too many items in the tables. This is usually caused by people opening tables, filling them up and never finishing the table. The easiest way to overcome this is to reset all tables. Note: This will clear any current sales you have in tables, but should fix the error.
Turn key to X1/Z1 25 CASH CASH If it gives an error, then try 25 CASH 1 CASH It should print an open check/table report and show you which tables were taking up the memory. It will clear the sales out of those tables. Now turn back to REG mode and try it.
