Doesn't spin all the water out

My Kenmore 80 series washer works but doesn't spin all the water out of the clothes on the last spin cycle. If I run the spin cycle again then it seems to get enough water out. It also makes a noise like a bearing is going bad.

Hi There,
Check the water pump and pump belt. The water pump bearings may be gone. Put the timer on spin and listen to the pump. Let me know if this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

Sounds like the coupler that connects the motor to the transmission is going bad.  A $20 part

Kenmore series 80 washer do not drain enough

It's normal to hear some water in tub, it isn't normal for the rubber wheel to be hard to turn, you need to replace the pump, they are much cheaper on ebay

Have a kenmore washer and I have to run everything thru 2 spins cycle

If the washer doesn't reach its proper spin speed, the clothes may be too wet at the end of a cycle. Check to be sure the load is properly balanced and run a spin cycle again. If the clothes are still wet, you may have a worn clutch.

Kenmore 80 Series - machine won't rinse or spin

Manually move the timer to the SPIN mode and turn it on.
If nothing happens, replace the lid switch.
With a model number I could be more specific.

Are you sure you don't have a second rinse button that is selected.

Kenmore washer series 80, Clothes still soapy

If you are getting no water spray during the rinse cycle that would cause the soapy clothes issue.

Are you getting cold water during the wash/rinse cycles? If you have the machine set to warm/warm you may only be getting hot water while the final spin is calling for cold.

If you have cold water available then the timer is not calling for the water spray. The problem is either in the mixing valve or the timer.
