Deactive voicemail - Lands Phones

To deactivate voicemail for Safelink Wireless, you will need to call your cell phone service provider. Because you need to cancel your voicemail service with your provider and only they have to cut it off.

Voicemail is not set on the phone. its a setting you give to you phone number. You can check with your network or service provider the numbers used to activate or deactivate your voicemail. it may look like *100# depending on your network

Voicemail Activation can be found in Smart Sim Settings (also known as Sim Connect). Voicemail Activation is FREE, however, to deactivate your Voicemail, you have to visit the nearest SMART Wireless Center. Processing fee for deactivation is P336 (VAT Inclusive).

the reason the phone automatically goes to voice mail is simply because the phone has sim card has been set to do so.

The solution is for you to deactivate the voicemail.

That is when you will be able to receive your call properly.

To deactivate the voicemail, all you have to do is to dial ##002# and send.

it will deactivate the voicemail of your phone and you will be able to receive your calls aswell as your phone will also start to ring out.

you cannot retrieve messages off the voicemail system I am afraid. If this is down to malicious calls and police are involved speak to O2 as they may have a way to supply evidence direct to police?
Regarding turning off voicemail here are the codes you need, dial 1750 to activate voicemail, 1760 to deactivate voicemail, 901 is used to call in and listen to voicemail and additional options i.e. greeting, pin etc.
WARNING! By turning off voicemail you will ERASE any messages in your voicemail as it resets each time deactivated! So only do this is messages are no longer required!

try to deacctivate all calls
go to"menu/settings/calls/divert calls/deactivate all"

from my exsperience with cell phone as far as i know you need to call in to your sevice provider and ask them to deactivate it.
