Try cutting the power again for 10 minutes. If it doesn't fix it, you will need a service call.

For model vsx-523-k with HDMI light flashing.... PLUG THE UNIT IN AND WITH THE HDMI LIGHT FLASHING "PRESS THE POWER AND THE AVANCED SURROUND BUTTON SIMULTANEOUSLY. .. AND HOLD FOR 5 SECONDS this clear the error. .

my orange light is on indicating that its getting power but it wont turn on. ive left it unpluged, left of, held power button, continuesly pressing power button but it wont turn on. help me please?

i changed the lamp and now the yellow light is flashing

on the control panel press clear button then interrupt button then zero button then interrupt button the display will change, then press 1 then 4 then start button then clear button (or power off) if you are blinking H then 5 it means you have had several jams in the fuser

maybe is the hard disk malfunction

Yes, the flashing light on start-up is actually the Waste Ink pad is full
a Canon tech suggests that the job is very difficult (unfortunately even for them)
HOWEVER....good news is that you can override it for awhile...

• turn off power
• press & hold RESUME button, then press POWER button
• continue to hold POWER then release RESUME button
• Press RESUME Button 2x quick
  
• Release both RESUME and POWER
• Green light will now blink, then stop
• With Green light on....press RESUME 4x
• Push Power button to turn printer off

this should resolve the issue

same problem. TV turns on but no picture or sound. when i press power button on the remote control orange light flashes for about a minute and goes back to red.

The printer is in line mode. Do the following to take it out of line mode:
Turn printer power off.
Hold the feed button while turning printer power on.
When the light starts flashing, release the feed button.
When the light starts flashing again, press and hold the feed button.
When the light turns steady amber, release the feed button.
When the light turns steady green, the mode is changed.
Verify the mode by printing and inspecting a status report.

This requires good timing and may take several tries. You'll know it worked if no labels are reeled out after you're done.

on the signal board replace the caps by the 5/9 volt regulators. c2p04 is the main culprit. 6 caps in total can be changed. I believe c2p05 also.
