If Wii gives Disc Read Error, first step you need to check is to try another disc or clean the exisitng disc. This will confirm that problem is with either Wii or Disc. If the console itself is giving disc read error then it needs to be repaired. You may check out DIY Wii Fix Guide, that will show step by step information to fix the problem yourself. Made a video showing how I fixed this exact problem on my Wii. I show how to troubleshoot, take it apart, clean the laser and replace the DVD ROM if needed. Cleaning the laser didn't fix my problem but most of the time it will.

Problems with the Denon 1600AL Minidisc Recorder

Get a CD cleaning disc from Walmart or Amazon. There are two laser optics, tracking and read/write/ It sounds like both of yours are dusty with either causing the issue. The tiny brushes on the disc clean the lasers.

Won't record on blank disc.

Bulk disc that comes in cylinder case are some time faulty and loses quality because they packed on each other. The lens of the disc are sensitive so if disc is scratch or dirty will get error message "no read". Turn the unit off then unplug ac power cord for more than two minutes then reconnect and try disc again, if issue still exist purchase disc that comes in individual case.

"No Disc" error message

remove the cover of the unit and try to clean the lens with a soft clean dry cotton swab or if you have a compress air cleaner, just blow it. most of the time cleaning can solved this kind of problem. good luck!

Error message

hi here

you may have an unreadable disk or you just have to clean the lens of your player. always remember that the lens should always be clean to optimize its reading capablilities. just to be sure too, make sure that the disk you insert have no severe scratchings.
