I do not condone overclocking!

You can try upgrading your bios to the latest version. It may let you change the CPU settings.

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Fi [...] &strOSs=38

Intel boards are usually "locked" (BIOS), and are difficult if not impossible to overclock.

I DO NOT CONDONE OVERCLOCKING. IT CAN RUIN,TRASH, BREAK FOREVER, MAKE CEASE TO FUNCTION, if something goes wrong, not yelling at you just want to make sure you know what you are trying toget into.
But...They do sell boards designed for that purpose, I think you can get the board you have w/CPU for under $100. Look for a different board if you are serious about it.

I have 9600 gt Graphics Card on Intel DG31PR with dual core processors & 2 GB Ram. While I starting My PC after 2-3 days then PC started but there will no display at all, hdd led not blink but pw led...

It's the motherboard, the BIOS forgets that there are components attached to the board and can't detect them.
Time for a new motherboard, this one is unfixable and it you wait too long it will fail while you use it with who know what consequences.

Mobo Compatibility and tech/spec variations

All Asus P5GC-MX/1333 mobos are "X-series" boards.

If you put higher speed ram on that mobo, it will just run the ram at lower speeds.

The board will not take 1333 speed DDR3, because it is only DDR2 compatible.

OVerclocking is complicated and risky, here is neither the place to teach or learn overclocking.

Some newer core 2 chips will automatically overclock, when all but 1 core is in hibernation (which will never happen if you are using vista). Other than that overclocking involves setting the bios to increase the memory buss speed, as well as slightly increasing the cpu and ram voltages as needed for stability. There is a great risk associated with manually overclocking and adjusting voltages, and should not be attempted by beginners on machines they value.

I have a intel dg31pr motherboard with e7200 processor.i want to overclock it.plz help me............

Overclocking is something you should only do if you are fairly experienced with computers. Most motherboards that overclock are made for overclocking as are the processors used. Good overclocking requires a balance of increased FSB, multiplier, increased voltage to the ram and sometimes the processor as well, and excellent cooling. It is easy to burn out your system by overclocking. There are many things you should know first. For that reasion alone it is impossible for me to tell you how to overclock it.

But, go to www.extremeoverclocking.com. This is a site made for people who want to overclock. Read and browse through the forums. You will also find some excellent by the numbers guides there. Sigh up and jump in. When you perform your first overclock, come back and tell me. I've been overclocking since 2002.

I want some information about Nvidia GeForce 9400 GT 1GB DDR 2

If you are using Dual Core the mother board you are using may have PCI Express Slot. So that you may install Graphics card. Only for particular lower end mother board doesn't have this feature. Any way tell me your motherboard make and model no. e.g., Intel DG31PR, 945GNT, DG41TY etc.,
