This can be done in a few ways: synchronizing with Outlook/Lotus Notes, via SIM card or sending the contacts manually as vCard files. I've recently bought a Sony Ericsson Elm and wanted to transfer contacts from my old Nokia 6233. Take a look at my solution here: http://gsmdna.net/sony-ericsson/how-to-transfer-contacts-from-nokia-to-sony-ericsson/
Hi. You need to install the Pc suite software that came with the mobile phone and use Pc synchronization. All contacts on your phone will be sav at Microsoft outlook contacts once synchronization is done.
if you down load sony pc suite to your computer then you wont have a problem, contact www.phoenixtec.ca they can assit in obtaining the sony software or provide a link
if you want to transfer you contact list to another phone then go to : menu > contacts > options > advanced > send all contacts > via bluetooth...
if you want to do it on a pc then 1. install the pc suite provided in the cd given with the phone... 2. synchronize the phone with pc which will automatically copy the contacts in you address book of the windows,
Export your contacts from Outlook in "VCF" format and import them in MyPhone Explorer. After been imported sync your MyPhone Explorer's Phonebook to your phone using the Sync Button.
If i was helpfull, kindly do rate me. Regards, Waqar
you have to install PC suite first..and then start to sync files between pc and mobile...if you have already done that and doesnt work..try using the data cable...
