Disconnect all speaker connections and rca cables. Leave power, ground and remote wires intact. Try turning on again. If you still have a protection light your amp is faulty. Hopefully you have warranty. Please check your voltage comng in with a volt meter. Not a test light. You need to verify true vol

.A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer is helpful to you.

Make sure that the speaker wires are wired correct at both the amp and the speakers......otherwise it sounds like the typical death of a power acoustik amp (great amps, but prone to a premature death)

Why does my spa 500 amp blow a fuse every time I hook up my 15" lanzar sub to it

Because it's drawing more power than the fuse can handle get a fuse with a higher rating. A 100 app fuse worked great for main power with my setup 760w amp a 15"sub 2 10"subs and a 12" sub. Also my amp had 2 30amp fuses on it one for each channel but I ran everything out of one channel.

My 2008 suzuki grand vitara keeps blowing the fuses for the ACC outlets. both are 15AMP, but even with nothing plugged in, nothing down in the outlets and even with larger AMP fuses, they keep blowin

If you use too large a fuse, the wiring can catch on fire, and the whole car could burn up. You'll need an auto electrician to trace that problem. You can remove any bulb and unplug any device that is on the Acc(essories?) circuit; then see if a fuse will stay; start replacing items till you blow the fuse. It seems like a dead short which can surely melt wires if you keep taking chances. good luck.

Have your voltage regulator checked a bad regulator will blow big fuses like a 30amp, hope this helps.

It sounds like the element has a short in it. unplug the range, and take the element out and inspect if for burn marks. check the wires going to the element to make sure they have not shorted.
