When soda is spilled in ps3 game system what to do

The soda short circuited the electronic parts and caused permanent damage. There is no home remedy to fix it. It must be taken in to a shop to be diagnosed and then repaired or buy a new wii console.

Let me say, up front, that I am not a printer guru. My background is in biomedical electronics, but this procedure works in most applications. Take distilled water and pour a small amount into the area where the soda was spilled. Wait a few minutes to allow the water to dissolve the dried soda. Then pour in more distilled water to flush out the residual soda. Allow to dry. The water should rinse out the soda, and when it dries it will leave no contaminates of its own. This procedure works well on medical devices such as telemetry transmitters and cell phones that have been spilled on. I hope this helps. Thanks for asking Fixya. Dan

unplug get ,shake all the water out & let it dry out for at least 24 hours then plug it back in to see if it works

Turn it off for a day or so and let it dry out, it may never work again, however, because you did spill soda on it...

Its depend on the quantity of the soda or drink spilled on the camera you are using. Use the blower to dry the liquid and do not use it at least 10 to 12 hrs. Allow more time to drying.

You need a new keyboard. The sugar in the soda caused the damage and will further corrode the keyboard.

I would also recommend that you clean the area where the soda may have spilled to on the system board.

It is likely the only problem is that the soda is causing the keys to stick. There is probably no damage to any other internal components. Usually, laptop keyboards have a metal-based frame/tray that will protect the internal components from minor spills.

If you want to get rid of the cracking sound, you'll need to purchase a replacement keyboard from the laptop manufacturer or another source such as eBay, and then remove the sticky keyboard and replace it with the newly purchased one.

You my friend have fried the motherboard!!!! Only way to get that baby out is to take the ps3 apart then take the blue ray player apart.. its a long process and you could actually break all of the ps3!.. I can help you out if you want but its no easy task and you had better be ready to spend a few hrs on it at least!
I do buy ps3's and would be more then happy to purchase your fried system and return your games! Let me know!
