Re: Do you have a experience buy some electronics online?...
I'm currently listening to an MP3 player I bought from http://www.overstock.com/. I've also bought other electronics from them, and have no complaints.

It is a very well known fact, that produces a huge variety of consumer electronics. Therefore, those who want to buy cheap electronics can directly order such products from factories. Ordering electronic products online also is vey cheap.
Depending on how expensive the MP4 player is, you need to decide whether to replace the screen or buy a new one. Those are basically your only two options.
You can buy a replacement screen for relatively cheap, but it can sometimes be troublesome to open an MP4 player up and replace the screen completely. I would not recommend trying to do this, unless you have some experience with physically handling electronics.
I would recommend simply buying a new MP4 player. Maybe it's about time for you to get an upgrade anyways? Look of it as an opportunity to get a better one rather than the loss of the old one.
No,tv internal DVD player are not on sale by itself as a seperate unit, only can buy it from the tv corporations themselves and it not cheap and have to have experience to putting it in into the tv internal tv itself. The tv internal DVD player now, could be the laser eye data reader have problems reading mp3 and mp4 files on the DVD disc, which are video files. Now tries to play more than one DVD movies dic, tries like to play like 5 to 6 original DVD movies. One disc don't play tries another DVD disc.Tries this might forcing the laser eye reader to read DVD dics again and than might fix it to read video files again.Or just buy an external DVD player hook it up to the tv and play DVD disc on to the tv video modes.DVD players external devices are really cheap these day, like can buy new one for $40.
Hi all. to be very frank i should tell you some points
1. never buy an MP4 player( the format is not even MP4 in the player)
if you did
2. never format it,(ever)......(as long as possible)
3. if you get less space, there is a problem with the chip, which can only be solved by the Chinese who made it.
4. as long as possible never try to upgrade firmware, (the tool they gives is almost useless)
5. if up gradation is required check ur board number,(by unscrewing the player)
6. check s1mp3.org for the firmware
7. and please check the board number
these are the words of wisdom from a victim like you all, from the Chinese attack of mp4 player
one more thing
8. ask ur friend to buy an ipod, instead of going for cheap stuff
guys the memory problem is almost unsolvable.....i guess all gets the message ....take care

Missil multimedia prpducts tend to have problems with the headphone jacks, I've had numerous MP3/MP4 players made by them, including the non-touch screen version of the one you're considering buying, and of all the ones I've had (probably around 15 different items from Missil), about 1 in 3 had issues with the headphone jack disconnecting from the circuit board inside.
That being said, a friend of mine has the touch screen one, and granted you have decent headphones, it has amazing sound quality for the price and all around is on par with anything of the iPod series, other than in reliability. Just make sure you get the longest warranty you can afford with it, just in case. When buying cheap electronics, the product itself will usually defect before it breaks from the users flaws.
I have one of these aura mp4 players its a 2 gig version and it claims to be USB 2.0 but unfortunately its not !! it can take over an hour to copy a 700mb audio book on to it and its that slow under Win XP and Win 7 ultimate 32bit and 64bit. Very frustrating as i know i have all my motherboard drivers up to date etc. The player seems to have no support on the web at all. basically you are in the same boat as me just throw it away and buy a different make of MP3/MP4 player. Sorry i can't be more helpful but these aura players are shoddy cheap little things and not worth the hassle
