I would say, that the Motion Drive Belt, has stretched to the point, that it is slipping on the pulleys. Over time all belts stretch or break. There is no adjustment, that can be made, once stretched, its time for a new belt. Look in your Owner's Manual,to see,a picture and directions of how to remove and replace a motion drive belt. If there isn't a picture of the drive belt in your manual, then look under the left foot rest. There you will find a decal, showing the correct method to install the belt over the pulleys. This is going to be a long belt,it runs from the Transaxle to the motor's upper pulley assembly. You can,it will be hard to do,remove and replace the drive belt with the mower deck attached. First, try lowering the mower deck,to the lowest position. This will give some room,to get to the motion belt, you will have to remove the mower belt,to get to the motion belt. I find it is easier to just remove the mower deck entirely. Doing this, give you ample room to work on the motion belt. The mower belt, can be purchased from Sears Parts Direct. Give them the tractor's Model Number and the Belt Part #,if you have the number, they will look it up anyway,if not. I gave more information, than you asked for. I hope this will help you. Sincerely,Brad Locke DTD. 12/04/15

I am losing power going up hills and smoke comes out in front of mower

check for excessive oil in the sump (carby needle and seat allowing fuel to drain into the sump past the rings when standing for a period of time )
what you describe is indicative of excess oil and the oil ring cannot handle the oil control
this in turn affects the air/fuel mixture and makes it hard for the engine to run

I have a2011 cub cadet zero turn mower but when I push the left side handle it doesn't barely move . Like theres hardly any power to move the left side. What is a matter with it? Is going to cost alot

May be low on hydraulic Oil.
Theres also a nut that releases the hydro pressure make sure it is not loose. Make sure there are no leaks. And make sure on the back of the mover that the hydro release is not pulled. If there are no issues then there is a issue with the hydro pump and yes the repair is costly. A replacement pump is roughly $250-300 dollars.

My swisher25hp-60 in.cut barely moves going forward

Was it working correctly earlier or is this your initial operation?

According to the product manual for "loss of drive":
1. Bypass linkages in the bypass position
2. Hydro belt worn, damaged, or broken
3. Idler spring loose or broken

1. Make sure that the bypass linkages are in
the drive or engaged position. Located at
the rear of the machine. Refer to decal on
the rear of the unit.
2. Replace Hydro belt.
3. Replace Idler spring

Won't pull itself up hill

You didn't indicate what model of tractor you have but most likely it is a hydrostatic drive problem . The power is transfered from the engine to the wheels by hydraulic pressure. If the fluid level (hydraulic oil) is low then it won't drive correctly. Follow the owners manual to check the fluid level. The other possibility is if this is an older unit it could actually have water in the oil.The water will not operate correctly. Where did the water come from? The transmission housing, is vented to atmosphere. On a hot humid day, while you're driving, the fluid and housing is heated. When the tractor cools, the ambient humid air enters the housing. When night rolls aroound the water condensing inside the housing. If you're lucky this transaxle may have a drain plug in the bottom. You can remove this and see if the oil looks milky. If it does, I'd drain it all and refill with fresh oil.

I have a 1020 john deere and there is hydrolic fluid in the oil put a new power steering pump on 2 years ago when it was doing the same thing Is there a ball or a setting pin that goes on the end of the...

power steering pump is mounted on front of engine where the tming gears are. Shaft leaks into crankase. Hydraulic fluid circulates through transmission, main system and power steering. Common problem with the 1020.

TRACTOR BLEW WHITE SMOKE, AND STARTS TO SPUTTER

Start with making sure your oil lever is not over full. If it is it may be getting into the crankcase breather hose that goes to the carburetor hence the white smoke. Sometimes also you can blow a gasket in the breather system and it will do the same. Check for oil leaks in the breather system. Hope this helps. donnyb60
