Sounds like there is a problem with the amp. Try switching the inputs around for that output on the amp. If that does not help, Yes I would have to say that there is a problem with the amp output circuit.

According to modified life.com the speaker wire colors for the 2008 Aspen are:

Left Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Dark Green
Left Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Brown/Red
Right Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Brown/Yellow
Right Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Brown/Light Blue
Car Audio Rear Speakers Size: N/A
Car Audio Rear Speakers Location: N/A
Left Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): White
Left Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Dark Blue/Red
Right Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Brown/White
Right Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Brown/Orange

i belive the are around a 6 inch speaker tale out ur original speakers and measer across the speaker or if they are the crazy looking shape then i would take the original speaker down to the store u are going to and ask someone to help u find the shape and size
