Question about kawasaki 2010 Jet Ski Ultra 260X
WHEN I TURN THE JET SKI OFF IT APPEARS THE OIL LEAKS INTO THE ENGINE. SOMETIMES IT IS DIFFICULT TO START IT SOMETIMES SMOKES BADLY AT FIRST CAN YOU HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM

The oil injection unit on these skis can fail to test you will need to empty gas tank disconnect oil feed line to inlet manifold
then make a mix of two stroke fuel to the correct ratio say 10 liters. poor in to tank and take ski for a run say 10 minutes let it rest and run again if problem persists
it is possible you have leaking or blown crank case seals you will most likely need a professional to test for

You must take out completely the carbs and clean them especially their canisters with the flowters.They may have jelled gas inside or closed air pipes.Use a carb cleaner spray and compressed air.

If looking for an electrical schematic this site will not help. You will need a service manual for that.

Check the ignition coils to begin with and basically follow the wiring back to the stator making sure you have proper voltage at each component, also check to make sure everything is grounded properly, it is very common for the grounds to be corroded on marine equipment. I will have to check but I am sure I have a dealer service/ troubleshooting manual for kawasaki skis, so if you have any other questions about yours let me know.

Running too lean will cause overheating.also has getting hot been true from the time since or before rebuild.? Why was it re-built? To much sealent or wrong seals could cause high temp Also cooling system obstruction from intake needs to be eliminated as cause.
