Our bird clock has started running fast, gaining about 17 minutes each day. Any idea how to fix this?

at a guess the time zone setting could be set incorrectly

The batteries could be low and need to be replaced. Or try resetting the time on the clock as well.

It is hard to confirm...as you are aware...your battery is draining when not running...First try turning off all power including the radio on your next shut off...If this does not work, The only drain is usually the starter has developed a short...replaced one...and fixed problem 100 %...(as long as everything else is properly shut down)...Hope this helps...nice car:)

Do you mean you set the correct time initially and then gradually got faster?There may be a reset button on it somewhere,no guarantee.It will probably be a small circle that doesn't look like anything.If there is,press it with a sharp pencil or something just as small.If not,it's just the nature of the beast.I have a radio which slows down over time...and it's a BOSE wave radio and have to adjust periodically!That's about all you can do is deal with it.Sorry if you can't fix it. strange..... electricity runs in certain cycles.... maybe you need to check your electricity, or your wiring
