Photocopies on my Ricoh Aficio 1045 look fade. on increasing the intensity of image, they are still not clear and lines appear on the paper. already have cleaned the drum. I need a diagram with clear naming of parts as i solve the problem.
If you have over approx. 60-100k copies on the machine it sounds like you may need regular maintaince on the machine.
to check how many copies you have press the user tools/counter button and then press counter.

For the Aficio 1018. SC-320 is laser failure - the polygon mirror motor inside the laser has failed and needs replacing. You will need to contact your nearest service agent for repair.
For your RICOH Aficio 1013F - SC-551 is overheat in standby mode as far as I can tell. The circuitry that controls the fuser section ie manages the heat has problem. Unless its right near a source of heat like a heater or has no circulation around you machine you will need contact a repair agent for this machine also.

Its a charge corona cleaning error. Try turning the power off, wait 10 seconds and turn it back on.
If that doesn't reset it, it could be the pcu, toner collected on the mechanism.
If turning it off and back on isn't fixing it, you should get a technician to look at it to see what the trouble is.

Error 990 can be cuased by many things. Most of the time it is related to the Hard Drive. you could try replacing it.
