Programming instructions for used phone

Greetings - wondered if one of you experts could tell me where to find instructions for programming used corded phone I bought at second-hand store? It's corded, Thomson Consumer Electronics (all searches so far have gone to GE), model number 2-9316A. Can't find any info on it. Works fine, just want to program some family numbers into it. Cordless phones are dying and don't want to lose the numbers programmed in them. What do you recommend? Thank you!

Hi! Looking for instructions for my grandmother's very old AT&T speaker phone the model number on the top right says 725 - looks like it was a model probably used in offices, where there are 2 rows of pre-dialed numbers in the middle of the face of the phone. We've tried pressing program and retyping in relatives phone numbers but nothing works. Crossing my fingers you can help with this one - thanks!

Re xscatguy's question about inserting a pause... from the manual at for the 2-9315 (http://157.254.235.130/public/15401660.pdf):
###
ADDING A PAUSE TO THE DIALING SEQUENCE

Use the REDIAL button to insert a delay in the dialing sequence
when storing a number, for example, when you need to dial 9 to
get an outside line.

Press REDIAL at the point in the dialing sequence in which a
pause is required. Each pause counts toward the 16 digit limit.

I found this info through Manuals Online (http://phone.manualsonline.com/ex/thread/view/idThread/2452777).

We have been told that there is a code blocking our ability to change voicemail messages in our phone system. We need to know how to over ride the code.

The "code" that blocks it would be the password to mailbox 998 which is the voice mail message manager. This is assuming a TVA or TVx external box and not the internal sytem. That's controlled by 39x numbers and passwords.

In addition, you have to know how the TVx voice mail system was programmed. Your installer should have given or be able to give you layout instructions and tell you how to re-record the greetings.

Having a hard time programming this timer...have the program settings instructions but not clear how to use....

I cannot tell which timer you have.

Your instructions show model number which will exactly identify your timer.
I have extensive files on timers if you can identify your timer, for example describe the buttons on timer and if timer plugs into wall or is wired in place of a switch or if timer is inside large plastic or metal box.
Check links below to help identify your timer, and then add a comment, and I will help further:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html
http://picclick.com/Amazon/Home-Improvement/Electrical/Timers/
http://waterheatertimer.org/UPM-timers-and-manuals.html

It would be helpful if you described exactly where the programming steps are difficult.
Most timers follow same general pattern for programming, but each offers slightly different options.
Some timers are tricky to program. Again I have files to assist you.

You can also take advantage of Fixya phone service where expert speaks to you on the phone for a price.

Trying to listen to voicemail grettings.

If your talking about listening to the individual mailbox greetings without calling into the system then you could use feature 980 (leave message)
enter in the mailbox number you want to check and press ok.
