I have the original remote and it doesn't work. The geen light at the bottom of the Tv continually flashes, is it suppose to do that?
If you have a mobile phone with a camera on it put it into video mode to record a video and point your remote control at the lens of the camera at arms length so you can see the remote through the screen on the phone then press any buttons on the remote control and that will tell you weather it is working or not, you should see a light flashing on your remote control that is not visable to the human eye (the camera on your phone can see it but you cannot) you will see it via your phone camera, change batteries on remote control if you dont see the flashing light emmiting diode on your remote control. (infra red) otherwise take your tv to a repair shop,

have a pv-df2704 & just replaced remote with original equipment remote.did the tests to see if remote was good & it checked out. fine as did my old original remote.problem must be in i r sensor on the t v .now what do we do?
The TV will not turn on with original remote or DISH network remote. The DISH network remote did work previously.
