Might have a code stored in the cars computer to aid in diagnostics. I would seek a scan tool, or hire some one that has one.

Onboard sensors tecd to go bad in those models. (not cheep either)

Vats system

Instructions
    • 1
Insert your key into the ignition. Turn the key forward until it can go no further, without starting the vehicle.

    • 2
Press and hold the "Valet/Override" button located under the dash. Hold the button until the blinking LED light on your dash is solid. Switch your "Valet" button to "Off" if you have a button labeled "On/Off." Your alarm should now be reset. If you wish to enable the alarm, repeat these steps to turn the alarm back on.

    • 3
Remove wires from your battery if you wish to temporarily turn off your alarm. Disconnect the wire connected to the main power source to permanently disarm your alarm. Trace all wires connected to your battery and disconnect them. If you have no familiarity with your vehicle's wiring, you should take your vehicle to a neighborhood installer to disconnect the wires for you.

Had the battery changed in 2007 nissan murano and now the chimes don't ring and the drivers doesn't automatically move back when opening the drivers door. How do I reset these?:

Disconnecting the battery erases stored memory, after you connect the battery put the key in the ignition cylinder and turn the driver door switch on(open) and off (closed), on (open),the entry, exist function then becomes complete, and the return operation can be operated,

94 full size blazer keyless remote doesn't work.

Does the spare remote work? Have you tried to reprogram it? These remotes are very cheaply made and prone to key pad failure. To program the remote click this LINK, if that doesn't work buy anew one on eBay for cheap.

The remote doesn't work - and then when you unlock the door with the key - the alarm will go off. This happened about 5 times and then the remote worked - the alarm did not go off and the car started...

Try to have your remote re-programmed. You must go the the car brand you have. All electronic can have malfunctions.
Also check if you have good enough batteries in your remotes. If new batteries does not help, re-program the controller.

2001 Chevy cavalier Z24 keyless entry not working.

You should have it scaned to see if you have any codes. It has a RCDLR (remote control door lock reciever) this is the module that recieves the signal from the fobs. If it has a problem then the system will not work. If it has to be replaced then a dealer will have to program it for you. Good Luck

Keyless entry blinks dome light and does nothing else

The remote is fine - your problem is the lock actuators in the doors. They're a bit of a pain to replace - so, you may want to have a professional do it.
