Your hi-fi is not part of a hard drive or a shuttle computer. If you have a problem with your Hi-Fi, it would be best to tell us the make and model and ask in the Hi-Fi or stereo section.

Has anyone tried drilling the holes in the AMP Housing in their Infinity PS-12 to correct the Overheating/In&Out of standby mode?

I will suggest you dont drill the box. Insteady, you should open the box, and find heat sink matarials that you can attach to the power semiconductors to improve the heat draw from the factory heat sink.
see the link below for some heat sink on ebay

Hi i" ve bought on

This may help. If it's not the exact model you have it will at least get you started as subwoofers are pretty much teh same for connection and operation.

My WHARFEDALE DIAMOND SW150 SUBWOOFER does not work. the light (red) comes on when connected. but no sound. I've tried direct from speaker and from receiver connection. doesn't work. Any advice

I had the exact same thing, no sound at all but light on and heatsink slightly warm. Returned amp module to Wharfedale and it was diagnosed as a fault in the muting circuit and repaired under warranty. Asked for a circuit diagram but they don't give them out while the equipment is still in production.

Can I connect my floorstanders to wharfedale sw150 without any external amplifier, If so, how ?

What 'floorstanders'?

Its internal amp is for its own subwoofer ONLY, but if you use your own amp's full-range speaker-level outputs to feed two chanels entering the sub you can tag the 'floorstanders' onto the sub's speaker terminals as speaker wire extenders. Your amp will be powering the floor units.

I'd keep the sub separate and feed it LFE only if it was mine.

The cooling fins on my Wharfedale SW250 sub woofer are always quite warm, even when I have not used it for a couple of days. Is this Normal?

Sounds like it is on standby all the time. It only powers up fully when detecting an audio signal but will otherwise be in constant low power mode when not used.

Wharfedale 10inch cude subwoofer that has a feedback hum when con

Hiya, try a different input cable (from amp to sub) if you have make sure that is ok.

Failing that if there is an earth in the plug, try to disconnect that (earth loop) - unlikely but hey electronics.... anything possible :)

If still there with new cable, earth off etc, then the Yamaha could have a problem but find that difficult to swallow...

Let me know if helps, see any other possibilty
Best of luck
