Return the thing. Ur LCD inverter board is dead.Or call for warrenty repair. The LCD inverter have no set of times,it dies anytime.Must replaced the LCD inverter board to get picture back.
Yes it is possible to replace the panel. I would suspect that it is cost prohibitive however. I am willing to state that the cost of the panel will be close to if not more than the cost to replace the TV.
This is indicative of a cracked PDP panel (the plasma panel itself). Even though there may not be impact damage on the outside (the filter), it has probably cracked the inner layers. Unfortunately, it is probably more expensive to fix than to replace the entire unit.
Yor LCD screen is broken, unfortunatly it usually cost as much or more to replace the screen than it does to buy a new tv.
If you are adventureous you could try to find the same tv that is not working and combine the two to make one good one. Sometimes you can find them on ebay.
Or you could sell it like it is.
Let me know if I can help.
If this is an lcd tv, the toy has broken the LCD panel and would need to be replaced. The cost of the panel would exceed the value of the set. If you have homeowners insurance, you may want to contact them to see if it's covered. Sorry for the bad news.
The front main screen polarizer is damaged. Only two options are available for it. 1. Order a replacement panel, which will cost more that what u probably bought the tv for. 2. Buy a new TV.
I had one broken a few months ago. I got a couple quotes.. it was about $200 less then a brand new one. I'd just buy a new one.
For the new TV I'd pickup a screen protector for it. My son threw a toy at my TV the other day and I nearly had a heart attack from the flashbacks. Thank God I picked up one of these a few weeks earlier. It stopped it. LCD screens really break easily as you know. http://www.tv-armor.com
