I assume there is a disk inside and the tray is closed? Clean the disk, or like my MW2 disk which is cracked and does the same thing; opening and closing the tray, it will recognize it after a while.
You are having tray sticking problems, you can solve this temporarily by keeping a disc in the tray at all times, even when the console is off or you can give the console a gentle pat close to the front part where the disc tray is, not advisable though because the 360 already has SMD dry joint problems, do this occasionally, try and remove dust also around the grooves under the disc tray, hope this helps
turn on xbox open tray, turn off xbox with tray open, turn it on making sure u dont close the tray until it is totally on then close it, then restart your xbox
Well you either have dirty or scratched disc's, or there is a faulty with your drive on the xbox, you could try a lense cleaning disc but I suspect the drive will need to be recalibrated, or replaced, if you can't do this yourself (i'm doing a tip for this in the next couple of days) I can do it for you, email me [email protected]
Try tapping above the disk drive or if that doesn't work open the tray take your disc out close the tray. open the tray put ur disk back in and close the tray again.
This has happened to me multiple times, but sooner or later, it will load, just keep at it. Try taking the disk out and closing the tray, then open and put the disk in and close the tray.
i have the same problem i called xbox and they said that it needs a new disk drive and it would be 100.00 so if you want it fixed youll nedd to call 18004myxbox and they will give you all the info on were to send it or for 100.00 more you can buy a new one like i did
It seems that there is already a problem with the tray since it wont close.. Unfortunately you wont be able to fix it yourself and you dont want to get that disc tray busted / damage.
What i suggest is to contact xbox customer support Good Luck! hope your console still has warranty
