Pressure roller is worn. But the whole fuser assembly could probably stand to be replaced.

You replaced it? or had it replaced? maybe pressure roller wasn't replaced by whoever rebuilt it??
Have a look at the pressure roller. Is it Wrinkled?

  • Anonymous Mar 28, 2009

you should be able to see it by opening the back cover of the machine, look at the fuser, and see if you can see the lower (orange) roller. If it's wrinkled / creased, it was not replaced, and is the cause of your trouble.
Contact whoever you got this from from and get a "truly" refurbished unit.

We have a Laser Jet Pro CM1415. It wrinkles linen envelopes when printing. Is there a quick fix (adjustment etc.)? It prints slick envelopes OK.

Hello,

that printer is really not designed to print on those envelopes but the wrinkling is usually caused by to much moisture in the envelope or paper stock. When the printer heats the print stock to bond the toner to the paper in the fuser unit the moisture evaporates and causes the paper to wrinkle. Don't know of a fix for it other than use different print stock.

Every page printed has a wrinkle pressed into the paper

Its or moisture issue or wrong pressure between fixing roller and press roller.

HP LaserJet P3005 printer prints wrinkled paper

2 reasons:
1. Was there a paper jam prior to this problem? It could be that the paper was pulled out and a small bit of it is stuck on the pins that guide the paper from the heat roller. If no torn jammed paper prior to this issue, then check out 2.

2. the heater/roller is damaged and needs to be replaced. I would suggest you take it to your nearest HP dealer to properly diagnose this for you. This would save you unnecessary cost in trying to pull it apart and causing more damage to it.

Good Luck,

After paper jamming in printer paper now wrinkles

there still may be a piece stuck somewhere in the unit. Remove printer cover and check inside to see if there is anything at all still in there

My Dell 1100 keeps wrinkling and tearing the paper

Depending on wear the tear is at determines the issue. The wrinkling paper and the look of your printer sounds like some sort of fuser issue. Recycled paper is more likely to wrinkle and the grain can cause paper to wrinkle as well. The Long grain paper is up and down the sheet and short gain is side to side on a sheet of paper. If your printer is on a long grain setting and you have the pages coming out sides ways or vice versa then your print outs can wrinkle.

Hello sir;Try to print one page, when the paper process half way then stop the machine, remove the cartridge, check the paper is wrinkling, if yes ,that's meanspaper feed roller dirty or registration roller slipply, ortherwise, check the fusing unit, need to replace presure roller. The 2nd issue, you need to replace paper stop roller or rubber pad.

CLJ8550n poor print quality and wrinkled paper

this is usually not caused by the paper tray. this problem is usually caused by the fuser assembly. check your paper path. dead cycle the printer, shut the printer down before the paper enters the fusing area, check for wrinkles. remove all paper, print again, check the output, wrinkles, replace the fuser.
