When on incline, say 16+, if the speed is set for 2 and I go down to 1, the there is no difference in the speed. At higher incline levels 28 plus, the treadmill will greatly increase in speed. it is like there is no resistance to prevent the speed increase and regardless of the speed it is set for.

I know it's been months, but, if you still have this problem try this: 1. remove the philips screws holding the motor/belt/electronics cover on: you can lay the whole thing on it's side and remove them from the bottom. there's two in the front and two on the sides.
2. Obviously, unplug the unit! before doing anything. lay the unit back on it's feet (normal position)
3. Find the incline motor assembly. it will be int he middle of everything. black tube thingy.
4. take a cordless drill with a flat head screw driver bit, and turn the incline motor CCW. until the bed is flat.
5. what what I have read, you should shop for a new incline sensor. these fail before the motor does.

I have a image 10.0 treadmill. I recently started running on it about 2 weeks now, my problem is that now when i put the red plastic card in the console to start it up, the console completely lights up and starts to buzz, and i won't start. I've unplugged it, it worked, then when i shut it off again and reinsert the red plastic card it does the same thing. What is this problemand what can i do?
