Please follow this steps and fix it. God bless you

Heating Element

If lights are flashing on the control panel, the heating element might have burned out. The heating element heats the water up to operating temperature. After a set amount of time if the temperature isn't reached a light on the control panel might start flashing. The heating element can be checked for continuity with an Ohm meter.

Sounds like you have a control panel and/or control board issue. Normally when operator functions fail or "halfway" work the main control board, associated keypad, or wiring are the likely suspect. Now...another remote possibility could be the door latch not closing properly. However, this would affect ALL functions. I hope this helps you.

Kenmore elite dishwasher cancel is on constantly, no other buttons will work.

Hey, I have a 5 year old Kenmore Elite dishwasher also. Mine started acting up and couldn't figure out why. I finely unplugged it for an hour and plugged it back in, it reset the Electronic broad inside and will work till it happens again. I tried tracing the wires down with the wiring Schematic and couldn't find anything like some kind of fluke some how but unplugging it and waiting works for my problem so who knows it night do it for you and save some big bucks. It's only happen maybe 5-6 times in 3-4 years since new and was out of warranty of course, but I trusted Kenmore for years and years but it works fine after doing that and I'm not calling a repairman for it. I hope it might help, like I said who knows right. Okay. Ben

Dishwasher says dishes are clean but is still stuck in cycle. tried resetting the breaker but no luck. the green light that goes on when clean is constantly flashing but dishwasher is non-responsive. any...

Some dishwashers have some sort of float switch. They can stick , try rocking dish washer if stuck mid cycle, I would make sure the food collect grid at bottom is clear, try flushing machine through with an empty load now and then, you can buy stuff for cleaning dishwasher insides too.

My dishwasher is stuck on clean mode? what can i do to reset? it finished cleaning, then will not cancel. just green flashing light that says clean. i tried to unplug the washer for about 1hr ,but no help.

Hi,

The flashing clean light is an indication of an error during the cycle. I put together an explanation of this and how to reset the control so you can use the dishwasher again. Follow this link and let me know if it works for you.

Whirlpool dishwasher reset code

Yup, found it on another site..I had the same issue today.

Reset code: Push 1. Heat Dry 2. Normal 3. Heat Dry 4. Normal

wait about 2 minutes as the controller resets itself. You should see all the leds flash on and then wash and rinse leds stay on for about 30 seconds. A minute or so later ..presto, my machine worked again.

My machine is not the GU3200XTP, but in the same Whirlpool tall tub series (same manual) so leds may not have the same name.
