If UPS is displaying "Site Fault", it is doing its job correctly. You need to check the wall receptacle. Probably hot and neutral reversed, or the neutral and ground are reversed, by whom ever installed the wall receptacle. You need to have the plug-in for the UPS intact, i.e. the ground pin must not have been cut off. If an extension cord connects the UPS to the wall, thge cord must be working correctly.

Site fault = Live and Neutral connected wrong way round (polarity) OR Too much voltage between Neutral and Earth.

Solution: Check line and Neutral connections + Settings-Site fault test-disable (ship use etc)

Hope this helps.

When i power on the ups it show site fault on the display,i checked the earth wire is ok . what can it be a problem?

Hi, here is the documentation page for the 9120 where you can find the manual: http://powerquality.eaton.com/Products-services/legacy/9120-info.asp You can also contact customer support 800 356 5737 or [email protected]. You may recognize the product as the Powerware 9120 but Powerware was bought by Eaton a few years ago. The customer support team is most ex Powerware and are familiar with the 9120.

My ups has is faulty i need a circuit diagram to fix it

I had a DC bus fault error displayed.

So I unplugged battery, then turned on UPS. It said Batt disconnected of course.

So when I plugged in the batt while the UPS was on, and held the power button for a few sec, the UPS displayed Batt testing.

After a few moments it was back online and had no faults!

Worth a shot.

Pw9120-6000

1st, the 9120 is a 700, 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000, 5000 or 6000 Va
if it is a 6000 Va that voltage sounds ok, and the ups as no problem, each battery will be around 12,75 Volts, it will be higher and the charging circle ends.

9120 Battery Failure

sounds like inverter is unhappy(causing the input fuse to blow. maybe, just maybe, this Powerware 9120 has given up the ghost? The inverter can short for a variety of reasons. Try to take out the battery completely, and run it as just a power conditioner. If that works, then you have an unhappy inverter in there.
