JENN AIRE LEAKING WATER ON FLOOR. NOT SUPPLY LINE PROBLEM. HELP

Open freezer, remove lower crisper & look for solid ice on freezer floor & area at rear of freezer. If present, defrost drain is restricted. Depending on make & model remove ice, remove rear wall and clear defrost drain trough and drain path. Verify by removing kick panel, pour a cup of near boiling water through drain and watch as it drains into pan. Once clear, pour one ounce of bleach into drain tube. Also check as water is draining into pan that the pan is not leaking due to pan cracks. This solution is based on the fact that you are stating no hoses are bad.

Every couple of days there is a puddle of water coming from unit..shut off water source and still leaked water?! HELP!

Is the hose from the freeze compartment in the drain pan? Or is the drain pan leaking? The unit is going into a defrost and that is where the water is coming from. It drains into a drain pan where it evaporates over time......Check the drain line and the drain pan. Is there ice in the bottom on the freezer maybe the drain is pluged inside and the excess is seeping out the door during defrost. Hope this helps....

Our carrier reverse cycle airconditioner is leaking inside the house after a hour of use. how can we fix this? we have cleaned the filters in the inside unit and it still leaks,it works fine as a heater...

Did you blow out the drain? If so pull the front off of the air handler unit. Ckean out drain pan. This drain pan had small holes on either side that run from the sode drain clean those out. Also if your coil is dirty it will pull water back and cause it to leak. Try cleaning coil and dain pan plus blow out drain. Rus

Water leaking all over

The water leaks all over the floor instead of running into the water containner. if that is right then your condenser drain pan tubing is blocked or the pan is rusted out that cause the water leaks all over instead of running down the tubing into the water containner . You've to dismantle the panels to get into this condenser drain pan to have a good clean out . Hope this will help . God Bless.

Air Handler leaking

First make sure unit is level. Drain pan may be dirty. On the rheem or Ruud unit the back of the pan gets stopped up. Ithas small holes that let the water by and they get stopped up. Now even though your drain is clean you may have a stopped up dain pan. Check this > These are problems you can take care of your self. Open up the top panel of your unit and you can look down on the drain pan. Check for dirt and stoppage near the outlet of the drain pan. You amy also have a cracked drain pan but I doubt it. Rus

LG 18000 ac leaks water in the front of unit indoors.

Hi,

the drain pan is either clogged or the unit is not mounted properly. If the drain pan is clogged simply clean it and the problem goes away. In the case of the unit mounting, check the angle of the unit and the drain pan inside, if it tilted to the front even just a little then water would leak. the drain pan should lean toward the drain and away from the front.

I hope this helps.
