Samsung Dryer with a "TO" error code. vents are clear.

Took it apart and cleaned the blower fins and vent, (wasn't really bad) Drum spins easy, the blower spins with the drum.. put it back togeather and ran it with the same results, even without the exhaust pipe connected. I saw 2 sensors inside the vent pipe and made sure they were clear, but i'm starting to suspect one of them might be an issue.. Can someone tell me which sensor i should replace? or is it something else possibly?

Samsung dryer M#DV219AGW/XAA, powers on and starts for 10 seconds then gives an error code upside down F and an 0. The drum turns, unit only runs for 10 sec and shuts down & beeps.

Check for an obstruction in the vent. Vacuum and clean out the vent. If this is clear, check the thermistor located by the exhaust vent.

My Samsung dryer machine spins few seconds then stop.....error code t35 appears. What causes it?

Hello,

This code with the "T" is temp. related. make sure the lint screen is clean and the vent that goes outside is clear. Sometimes animals build a nest in the vent and clog it. if all looks good and before you call service tec. pull out dryer, disconnect the hose for the vent. unplug the dryer for 5 mins. Plug back in and then try. If still a code it will most likely be a temp sensor of sorts.

I have samsung dv220aew/xaa dryer, that gets too hot and kicks code HE. New element, thermistor and cleaned thoroughly. Gets hot, codes on all heat settings. Any ideas?

DRYER OVERHEATING:

Heating Element
A defective heating element can make a dryer too hot. If the element partially shorts out, it can produce heat all the time, regardless of whether the dryer is calling for heat. Remove the heating element to inspect it. The coils should not be touching each other or anything else.

Other Causes and Conditions
Air Flow Problem
Dryers need good ventilation to work properly. If the vent is clogged it can make the dryer too hot. Clean all of the vent tubing thoroughly.

Cycling Thermostat
Although not common, a defective cycling thermostat can make the dryer too hot. The cycling thermostat is supposed to turn on and off the heat to maintain the proper temperature. If the thermostat is defective it may keep the heat on too long. The thermostat is not adjustable or repairable, it must be replaced.

Felt Seal
Most dryers have a felt seal at the front and rear of the drum to keep the heat inside the drum. If the felt seal is worn away or missing, the dryer may keep heating and make the dryer too hot. This is not common.

Blower Wheel
A defective blower wheel will not spin properly and will not vent the hot air, making the dryer too hot. Check to see if there is adequate airflow out of the dryer.

Maytag Bravos XL MCT will not start, light is stuck on "detecting" under airflow. All vents and lint trap are clear.

If the vent output is clear and lint trap is clear, then there are a couple of more hidden spots that air can get backed up.
First off, unplug the dryer before doing any of this. There's a lot of current to that plug, and getting killed is a really bad way to detect a bad wire or to identify where the heater coil inlet is.

  1. Inlet to the heater area. Laundry rooms have lint in them. All the air that gets blown out the back has to come from somewhere. make sure you don't have a clump o dust bunnies on another section of the rear panel.
  2. The blower motor itself. The lint filter can't get everything. The first time I took the back off my old Kenmore and opened up that area after the lint trap, it was like looking at a chalkboard eraser. Solid lint. The fins in the blower were packed tight with more lint. Cleaned it all out, and it ran better than it had in years.
  3. If the wall/floor connector for the vent hose goes anywhere but straight through the wall to outside, look down the hose and clear what you can, then go outside to the outlet and make sure it's not blocked, jammed, frozen shut, or what have you. Clean what you can from that end too.

    Hope this helps!
Good Luck!

My cabrio dryer wed7600xwo is no longer drying right, I have to run loads 3 times to get them dry. What could the problem be?

This dryer has 2 belts. A smaller belt operates the blower. The nut tends to back out and the small belt falls off. Here is the result:

Look around on my foggy site for your service manual. Let me know

My amana LE9207w2 has been taking longer and longer to dry the clothes. I clean out the vent regularly... when I use it a lot, it shuts down for hours. Now it stopped altogether with wet clothes insid

First the dryer vent should never go out of the roof thats just asking for trouble. The dryer has to work harder to get the air out. any lint that would be in the vent when the dryer shuts off just comes back down instead of being blow outside. there is probably a buildup of lint around the exit pipe on the roof. As far as your problem either you have a bad motor or there is something stuck in your blower wheel. the best way to check this is to reach inside your dryer and try to turn the drum. If your drum spins freely then hold the door switch and push the start button keep holding the door switch the dryer will be buzzing now turn the drum if it starts to go after you push the drum then you have a bad motor. If the drum does not spin freely then you probably have something stuck in your blower wheel

Has anyone had problems with lint building up inside samsung DV330AE dryers

talk with a service agent , but by design the only way lint can get out of the unit is from a badly fitted lint filter
the air is blown into the dryer tub and exits through the filter to the vents
there may be a recall on the units so calling and talking will get an exact answer

My dryer runs and heats but seems like no air is being blown. It should have some sort of a blower correct? Taking 2 cycles to get dry and vent is not clogged, but not sure about lint trap slot.

First, of course, make sure ALL the airways are clear, including the area around the lint filter, and the outside vent - lint likes to stick to the outside vent flap, so make sure you clean that off too, and that it opens and closes freely.

Here's how to get the dryer apart

There is a blower wheel, but it's powered by the same motor and belt which turns the drum. So if your drum is turning, the blower wheel should be turning, too. If not, you may have to replace the blower wheel. Here a link showing how to do so:
