Philip go gear 8g opus permanent white screen

My philip go gear 8g opus seems to be working perfectly (my pc recognizes it, all the songs are there , i'm even allowed to add new ones) except for the white screen. Whenever turn it on, the white screen pops up and doesn't go away. I tried to reset the device but nothing changed. Maybe it's only solvable trough a screen fisical repair?! I don't know but I love the mp3 and I would like it to be in it perfect shape again...

SOURCE: Media engine error! DRM License

These songs must have been purchased online. Itunes, or many online MP3 stores do this to prevent piracy. The songs can only be played on the PC that purchased them. Either buy the music from a DRM free site or find a DRM ripper, which maybe illegal in some locations.

I have transferred itunes music video to my philips go gear opus 8G. I can see & play the files when the go gear is connected to the computer but they cannot be found once disconnected from the...

This player cannot play mp4 files only mp3 files. When the files are copied to the MP3 player the computer can play the mp4 files from the MP3 player but when you play these mp4 files straight from the MP3 Go Gear it cannot see or play these files.

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

Songs made inac cessible by sync up

The HDD6330 works perfectly with Windows Media Player 10, but synching it with Windows Media Player 11 eventually causes problems - there is a warning about this issue on Philips' website. The damage has probably already been done, but if your computer will still recognize the GoGear, double-click MyComputer, double-click the icon of the Philips Go Gear, and look for a file call "wmpinfo" - it is a file that Windows Media Player 11 adds automatically to the player that wreaks havoc on this particular GoGear - delete the file called "wmpinfo". Then rollback your version of Windows Media Player to ver. 10 - it will not erase any of your media files in the process.

Good luck!
