Some repairs need professional expertise, but some repairs can be done easily with Liquid RV Roof. Liquid RV Roof can restore the roof at a fraction of cost of a new roof. With only a single coat and no primer needed it also saves labor and material costs.

Liquid Roof is an incredible material. It can be used to repair anything on the RV roof from a leak to a big puncture or tear on RV roof surface. It can restore old RV roof at a fraction of cost of roof replacement. With Liquid Roof you only need a single coat in most cases, which should be around one millimeter thick. So, apply a coat, and then let it dry. Do not apply a second coat unless it is absolutely necessary.

If its a mobile home odds are its a metal roof. First address all the seams in the metal. Depending on the climate you live in. apply Flashing cement generously over the seam. And then apply ashpalt soaked membrane on top of that. Take your trowel and smooth them together. Now apply either a silver coat sealant or a white elastomatic sealant with a roller and brush genorously

I have a 2006 Jayco with a rubber roof. We do not have any leaks, but there are some "soft" spots on the roof. What can i do to treat the area to prevent from getting leaks? Thanks

Dear Kevin,
First, be very suspicious that the soft sports were caused by a leak and that has rotted the wood frame underneath, so it is only a matter of time until you have a bad & expensive situation.
Next, Hardware center, home center, paint stores, etc. have a roof coat.
This normally comes in 3 "flavors".
One is a black tar, spread with a broom. ( Cheaper fix)
It might need to be re-coated every few years, depending on the amount of weather & sunlight it is exposed to.,
Here in Florida, once a year.
Second, an aluminum brush on coat, most often used on mobile homes & trailers. ( Middle priced fix)
Should need refurbishing every 5 years, except for severe weather areas, and this includes too much sunshine & high temperatures.
Third, a white coat "Elastomeric Roof Coating" brush-on coat.
(Expensive. )
I use this, and it is the best, should last several years, ( 10 ?)
God bless your efforts.

Coleman furnace

Is this a blend air system? If so, there is an upper & lower control board that communicate to each other, and if the exhaust fan on the roof is out, it will give you intermittent issues. The fan mixes or blends outside air with the return of the air handler, & duals to pressurize the attic. These were installed due to mobile homes built too air tight. Without this fan, your roofing shingles will curl, and your roof decking will bow prematurely.

I have a 1998 Fleetwood mobile home with a Coleman electric furnace. I am doing a roof replacement. Is the ventilation motor/blower/control board on top of the roof necessary. If not, i want to remove the...

If the motor was there originally I would not remove it as it means something that can harm the occupants (gases, heat, etc) has to be expelled from the mobile home using that vent motor.
