Noisy blower the blower works but the bushing is defective--the blower makes a terrible noise. I can only find the entire blower in the parts catalog. The bushing looks like a piece of red rubber. It went out while under warranty and I had it replaced. Now it's not working again and it's only been 4 years. I am reluctant to buy another blower.

The vendor of that part does not make parts of the assembly available separately. If you continue to use the oven with the blower moving an inadequate amount of air, you risk cabinet damage, electronic control failure, and TOD failure making the oven much more expensive to repair.

My St George multi function oven has a noisy fan. How can I fix it?

Clean grease off the fan blades, remove the fan motor and re-secure it. Make sure there are no blades missing from the fan. Lubricate the fan shaft. Make sure any guard on the fan is not fouling and make sure the guard is properly secured. Vibration is what is likely causing the noise.

Or just replace the fan parts.

Ykemc308kmo oven fan noise

You are probably correct the cooling fan can wear out. You will have to order it by model number. They are a bit tricky to install depending on the oven, but not hard once you get to the fan area. Somke are behing the cabinet and you will have to puul the oven out and some are in the control panel area.

Fan makes noise turn noisy

If this noise is happening when the oven is off as well, it is a problem with the cooling fan that draws hot air out of the oven. These fans go bad after a few years and need to be replaced or repaired. Not a difficult fix, but the oven unit needs to be removed fromm the wall cabinet which is a two person job.
There are several web sites that sell the part. Try www.appliancepartspros.com or www.partselect.com.
The part number is either PS992856 or PS2348323 so I would call one of these companies and ask for help on the exact part you need.

How to fix noisy fan in chef fan forced oven

Possible fault in the bearing bushes , in the first place you can spray a WD40 or even some light oil into the fan's rotor ends where the bearings are located. If the sound reduces clean and wipe off excess oil from the shaft side. Also make sure that the fan leaf is not making the noise due to any dirt accumulation or obstruction.

My whirlpool oven (model rbs305) makes a loud noise whenever it is on. I can't figure out if it's the fan, or just extremely loud.

Hello,

I would suspect that the blower is noisy its what i would expect to potentially make noise ...if fits in the back of the control panel and it comes on to cool the control board each time the oven is on.

In case it turns out to be the blower thats noisy the part number for it is W10176670

I have a DeLonghi Oven, Model No. DMFPS60 (F6ET), which is very noisy, this occurs intermittently and it continues being noisy in all the Functions Selected, i.e. even when it is in the "Oven...

I have a simlar oven, with the same annoying problem.
Ifound out that the problem is caused by the top blower-fan (the cylindrical fan) that is moving from time to time to the right or left along its axis.
Having this very same problem I would like to know if anyone can help me on buying the appropriate fan, or, atleast help me in giving its part no.

Thanks

Naftali H.

P.S.
I tried to fix my noisy fan by pressing it here and there (sqweezing/expanding it a little at the edges of the exis), with no real success.

Noisy fan means bushes are worn. cant be repaired. needs replacement. Quote model of oven to spare parts supplier and replace. Make sure power is unplugged and not just switched off before repairs are done.

Have installed Delonghi undercounter stainless steel oven and hob bought from local supermarket. Fan making terrible noise like its touching something. My daughter has same oven and has exactly the same...

Do not disconnevt fan under any circumstances, otherwise it will cause big prob, if it is new, I would take it back, if it is under 28 days old, then they are legally bound to change it` for a new one., if more than 28 days old, then get them to repair it under guarantee.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

Noise exhaust fan on my Amana AOCS3040

The exhaust fan on my oven (Aosc3040) is loud also and has always been. Just hope nothing significant brakes because this model has been discontinued and it is difficult to get parts for it. I have been told by Amana that the life expentency of this oven is 10-13 years, so don't invest in anything that is not necessary. The glass door broke on mine and I cannot get a replacement piece. My kitchen looks terrible. It is a shame because the oven works great. Linda
