I have had this razr 4 a few years when i plug it in to charge it turns on 4 10 secand kuput it doesant work!!!!I NEED HELP!!!!!

1. Turn off your phone when it's not in use. If you're not using your Verizon Wireless Razr, then shut it off. Your battery will last much longer if you regularly do this.
2. Charge your phone less. If you charge your Razr nightly, then your cell phone battery won't last long. Try to charge your phone only a few times a week to extend the battery life.

4. Protect your Razr from extreme temperatures. Your cell phone battery lasts longer if kept at room temperature.
5. Discharge the Razr fully. Before you charge your phone, let it completely die. You can extend the life of the battery by regularly discharging and then fully charging it.
6. Leave the battery in the phone. Keep the Razr battery dry and free of dirt to prolong its life.

No, try and remove the battery again. wait a few minutes.
Now replace the battery, plug the phone in, now press and hold the call button which is the on button for 10 seconds and see if it powers up.

clean your drive if this does not help you might either need a new lazer or a new drive itself take it apart and check for yourself just remember if you open it your rrod warranty is kuput..so which is more important cod6

is it fully charge?.

Usually the batter gets fried when it comes in contact with water (I know because I dove into a pool, swam for 10 minutes, and had my phone in my pocket!).

1. Take the battery out of your phone instantly after water damage.
2. Dry your phone with a blow-dryer until thoroughly dry.
3. Dry the battery.
4. Place the battery back in the phone and press the power button.
5. If the phone turns on, good, if not continue to step 6.

6. Find a friend with a RAZR and use his/her battery in your phone.


If the other battery works purchase a new battery... and by the way... the lines on your screen WILL GO AWAY lol

try changing the battery.....if that does not work you may need to take the phone to a mobile repair cnter and have them service the main-board

try a master reset and clear all data on the phone......if that does not work have the phone's firmware reflash by taking it to a professional mobile store and getting it done there.

you need to charge a phone over night for the battery to fully charge and have a memory

try plugging in as charging and turn phone on by holding the red button down for a few seconds on the right hand side

I had this problem too. Unfortuneately it happens often with that phone as i have been told. Mine got fixed about 10 months ago because it was under warranty and now it has happened again out of warranty and i have to pay for it to get fixed. Why should i when its going to keep happening every few months? It has nothing to do with the battery or the charger. The only way that it can be fixed is to take it to the manufacturer.
