Although setting the device up for Internet sharing the first time may take some minutes, you only need to do these actions once per PC. Subsequent connections are quick and are explained at the end of each configuration. Before you start, you must ensure ActiveSync 4.2 or later version is installed on your PC. You can find this program on the Getting Started CD that came with your device. You cannot run this function with earlier versions of ActiveSync. These instructions show how to set up your PC for connection over GPRS, please contact the customer support team if you wish to connect over a circuit switched connection. If you are running Windows Vista on your computer, you do not need to install Activesync.
