After printing a doument on my HP deskjet 5550, the document in the print list on the computer does not clear automatically. As a result, the computer starts to print the same document again and again until I either (1) remove the data plug from the printer or (2) enter the documents waiting to be printed list on the computer (while the printer is printing the unwanted document) and delete - cancel - the document from the list.

Cancel all the documents in the print queue, (just do it whether they are actually deleted or not), press "cancel" on button the printer and restart your system and also the printer. If possible, please leave the printer switched off for few minutes and don't forget to use the "Power" button to turn if off or on. This will help your printer to restart new print job, all the jobs on the print queue will be deleted/cleared.
Good luck,
Thanks for using FixYa.
Try when the message comes up click on print anyway. I have to do this with my printer sometimes and when I click print anyway and do not try to correct it prints fine.
