may be this that I found below to access recovery options -
BE AWARE you may lose any data and installed programs on your computer hard drive when re-imaging hard drive back to factory default

Press F8 during bootup to open Advanced Options.
Select Repair your Computer.
Select keyboard layout.
Select User name and Password. If Administrator account is disabled use another account.
Select in System Recovery Options the Fujitsu Siemens Computers Recovery
Restore Factory Default Settings to restore the system image.
Select the source From hard disk (recommended).
Last confirmation to restore the image.

system software is probably corrupted, have it fixed by a capable computer guy or if it is still under warranty have them fix it for you

Hi,
No that not normal.
Turn the laptop off and remove the AC power and then the battery. Plug in AC power only and start the laptop, let it boot into the operating system and then turn it back off.
Remove AC power and reinsert the battery, then plug in AC power again and look for the charge indicator LED light on the front of the laptop.
If the light comes on then it's charging.
If it doesn't then there is a problem with the laptop.
I would recommend giving Fujitsu a call as their customer service is excellent.

Then select esprimo mobile V
Then select Esprimo movile v5545
expand windows xp
Selec t windows xp
expand modem
click on download
download the modem software
right click on the zip file
click extract all
browse to the newley created folder
FSC_ConexantCX20548_76200_1017149
browse to winxp
run setup.exe

get a flat screw driver and start undetaching it from the corner
