Color code for factory wiring harness for 05 Hyundai Elantra

I found a wiring diagram for the 2005 Hyundai Elantra that might be helpful . According to the diagram, the color codes for the factory wiring harness are as follows:

Wire Color Function
Orange/Black 12V Constant
Yellow 12V Accessory
Black Ground
Blue/Black Power Antenna
Green/Orange Illumination
Brown/White Left Front Speaker (+)
Black/White Left Front Speaker (-)
Brown/Yellow Right Front Speaker (+)
Black/Yellow Right Front Speaker (-)
Brown/Red Left Rear Speaker (+)
Black/Red Left Rear Speaker (-)
Brown/White Right Rear Speaker (+)
Black/White Right Rear Speaker (-)
If you don't have a plug on your factory wiring harness, you can hardwire it by connecting each wire to its corresponding wire on your new stereo. You can use crimp caps or soldering to make the connections

. If you're not comfortable with hardwiring, you may want to consider purchasing an aftermarket wiring harness that clips onto the factory harness you removed off the rear of your factory radio during its removal. This will make it easier to connect your new stereo to your car's electrical system .Hyundai Radio Wiring Color Codes - Radio Codes Calculator

Hi I'm looking stereo wiring diagram for nissan micra s 2003 to connect new market stereo harness

Hi, you can usually buy a stereo wiring harness that plugs right into your car and they are color coded to match the standard aftermarket wire radio harness, all you do is take the plug from your new stereo and match the wires with the adapter, just connect the matching wire colors. it's super easy and well worth the $15-20, and you don't have to cut up your factory harness.
good luck!

I need the wiring diagram for a dual stereo model xd1225 to hook it up to a 1986 ford f150

OK, for starters, get a wiring harness made for your vehicle. All aftermarket radios have standardized wiring colors. You wiring harness will have matching colors, so it will be easy to hook up. The harness will also have the diagram of colors on the package. However, you vehicle wire colors will not match this. That's why you have the harness. You will just plug into the stock vehcile harness. You will not have to match any wires because the harness is specifically made to match your vehicle. Trust me, it's easier this way. You can find them all over, try www.crutchfiedl.com to get one if you need. Hopd this helps.

I need a color coding of the wiring for the harness i was given for my kenwood dpx308u. i just need to know which colors belong to which wires

Ok, you should have a wiring harness that plugs into the radio. That comes with the radio. You will need a wiring harness that is specific to your vehicle, this will plug into the vehicle harness. The wiring harness will have the correct colors to attach your radio to it. All aftermarket radios have standardized wiring. I recommend not attempting to hardwire your radio due to the risk of frying your entire electrical system. I hope this helps.

I need color codes wiring diagram for car stero

The easiest thing to do would be to purchase a Metra wiring harness. It plugs right in to the plugs that you will remove from the factory stereo. This simplifies wiring, as you can crimp wires by matching colors on the harness instead of mixing and matching colors on the factor wires. You can purchase this harness at PepBoys or other places where they sell car stereos. The harness looks like this. I used this harness on my 94 SL2 the same model harness applies to yours

Wire Diagram

If the plug is not keyed and you cant tell from the wires, it probably doesn't make a difference. You are telling me it is 21 VAC ... AC dont care - and you dont appear to have a common ground situation.

Chrysler Part No. P56038933AB Radio Wire Color code

1982 to 2001 wiring harness color code Chrysler.

12V constant pink or pink/white stripe
12V accessory red/white stripe
Antenna/Amp turn on white
12V Illumination black/yellow stripe
Left front + dark green
Left front - brown/red stripe
Right front + purple
Right front - blue/red stripe
Left rear + brown/blue stripe
Left rear - brown/yellow stripe
Right rear + blue/ orange stripe
Right rear - blue/white stripe

there is no ground wire in the harness, the metal braided strap is the ground.
use a ring terminal, speed clip, and screw to attach the ground wire from new radio
when replacing infinity radios and speakers, there are 4 wires instead of 2 at the speaker plug. the large gauge blue and black wires are the power supply for the amp, the other 2 are signal wires from the deck and will match up to the wire color codes above. simply cap off the power and ground and use the other 2 for speaker leads.

One thing i hate to see is someone who just hacks off the plugs behind the radio because they are too cheap/lazy/dumb to buy a wire harness adapter for the nice new aftermarket deck they just bought. ive seen everything from masking tape to house wire nuts used to connect wires, and they never last.
there is only 1 reliable permanent way to connect wires together - SOLDER AND SHRINK WRAP!!! whether you're connecting wiring for a radio, fog lights, repairing a cut wire, etc solder those wires, you'll be glad you did when you never have a problem with that circuit again.

This is a listing for part #'s for dash kits wire harness adapters
all part numbers are metra unless otherwise noted
dash kit 99-6700, 99-6701 and 99-6500 will work for most cars
wire harness adapter 70-1817
reverse harness( to replace factory plug that have been cut off) 71-1817
speaker adapter plugs 72-6510, non amped 72-6513 when equiped w infinity system and bypassing fact amps

no antenna adapters are required until you hit 2002 model year.
beginning in 2005 chrysler switched to a high speed LAN system in all its cars and trucks. there is no longer a switched ignition lead in the harness.
Good Luck
