The Ballast that ignites the Lamp could cause the Lamp to fail and/or cause a buzzing noise. That being said, the Color Wheel in the Optical Block assembly could also cause a similar symptom. If Mitsubishi would be willing to help with the Lamp cost, I would call a local Mitsubishi repair facility to install it and see if the noise is still there and find out exactly what is causing it. Take that mother back to the store and tell them to quit dropping there Televisions i am serious about that statment. There is a resister that came loose inside the TV it needs to be repaired,
