Lights blinking and won't clear

The following lights are blinking and will not clear: Heavy Duty, Normal, Quick Clean-up, Rinse Only, Heat Dry and Cancel. I have tried the following key combinations to fix it, but they don't work: 1)High Temp (HT), Heat Dry (HD), HD, HT, HD, HD, start, start... and 2) HT, HD, HT, HD, start, start.... 3) HD, Normal, HD, Normal Neither one of these solutions worked. I got solution #3 from the literature attached to the bottom, front panel. Do you have any other suggestions.

Today I have the following lights blinking (normal, Light/China and the Cancel) these all blink at the same time. I can't recall what the previous ones were but, currently these are simultaneously blinking . Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I have taken no other steps beyond flipping the switch to the electric panel.

heavy duty flashes, when cancel pushed heavy duty and normal flash,if restart pushed heavy duty, normal and cancel flash, if unplugged. will
go off and only cancel blinks slow then is on steady. do anything goes back to heavy duty flashing.  key presses heated dry-normal-heated dry-normal
does nothing. The demo mode key presses: high temp-heated dry -heated dry-high temp-heated dry-heated dry also do nothing. The washer was bought new and sat for almost a year while we remodeled kitchen. Installed ran twice ok then would not go thru a complete wash cycle.

The solution #3 should work.. you may want to try again.... first turn off the Breaker to cut power then wait a few minutes then turn back on, then within 6 seconds try (Heated dry)(normal)(heated dry)(normal).. all lights should light up then you know that you are in the service cycle, and the unit should go into a self test and clear the fault. The test take about 30 minutes. let me know if you can get into it...

How do you reset a KitchenAid dishwasher model: KUDE70FXSS4?

Press High Temp Scrub and Dry Heat option buttons in quick succession one after the other for about 6 sec until all the lights come on. Then press Cancel button. This should reset the dishwasher. Press equivalent buttons on the panel if the actual ones above are not there.
Make sure the dishwasher detergent dispenser lid is shut and the dishwasher door is shut before you start the above reset sequence.

Normal wash and rinse only lights keep blinking on whirlpool gu1500xtls. tried cancel and uplugging and they still blink

Have Whirlpool GU1500XTLT1 with exact same symptoms, even tried power off but the lights resumed blinking when powered back up. Used solution from "kent168" of 17 Nov 2010 for similar GU1500XTLS1 with a different problem, and IT WORKED: "Reset the machine: press control buttons in this sequence: sani rinse, air dry, sani rinse, air dry, clear."

Blinking "Normal" light on a Maytag model

Hi

Open the door. Within 3 seconds press the following sequence --Try pressing normal wash, heated dry, normal wash, heated dry, normal wash, heated dry three times within 6 seconds and then press cancel to reset the dishwasher. If that doesn't help then try pressing Saini Rinse, Heated Dry, Saini Rinse, Heated Dry, Saini Rinse, Heated Dry or Saini Rinse, Air Dry, Saini Rinse, Air Dry, Saini Rinse, Air Dry 3 times in 6 seconds and then the Cancel Button. Close the door and press Cancel.
Blinking lights would stop and should be able to use your dishwasher normally. If the light is still blinking try and reset the power to the dishwasher and try again. If still the light is blinking then check for the connections on the keypad, it may be due to moisture or shorted connections on keypad.

Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

I need to reset my Kenmore Elite dishwasher but i don't know how.

Hello,

follow the below instructions:

Unlock your Kenmore dishwasher control panel by pressing and holding the "Heated Dry" button for four seconds.

Press a series of four buttons in quick succession. Press "Heated Dry," "Normal Wash," "Heated Dry" and "Normal Wash" to instruct your Kenmore dishwasher to run a short diagnostic test

Wait for two minutes while your Kenmore dishwasher runs its diagnostic test.

Press the "Cancel/Drain" button once your dishwasher has completed its diagnostic test. This should reset your dishwasher control panel and stop the "Clean" light from blinking repeatedly.
Good luck.

Kenmore 665 dishwasher blinking clean light

you'll need to enter a diagnostic mode, press in this order, hi-temp(sani-rinse)----heated dry--hitemp---heated dry... all lights should light, close door and let cycle for about a min, after press the cancelbutton, you should be good to go, the buttons on your model may read slighty different names, if this "toggle of buttons" does not work, you can remove thelower access panel and htere willl be a tech sheet/trouble shoooter behind the panel, in there it will explain how to enter diag/test mode

DW won't drain and "lock" light is stuck "ON"

Joe, see if you can reset the board by pressing heated dry-normal-heated dry-normal..(new board). Old board is high temp wash-air dry-high temp wash-air dry. See if it goes back to normal. If not you probably have a stuck or shorted keypad on the overlay..not the board. Catriver...post back
