Have a Panasonic CT-32HXC14 which just recently has a large vertical green line and flashing video and sound when connected to cable. DVD movie, and game machine works fine. Tried resetting cable, reattaching cables, and changing cables to different input with no change to the above problem.
It seems to be a strange fault indeed. Anyway, check this link. It has details and troubleshooting chart to Panasonic TVs. Check it and take all measures according to the troubleshooting chart. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up previous posts there, either by its left side bar, or view it in Timeslide option.

This sounds like a bad connection or a bad capacitor in the 220 volt source that supplies the voltage for the CRT boards. You will need to get a schematic and trace out this voltage from the PM board to the CRT driver boards when the set acts up. it could even be a connection on one of the plugs from the PM board to the CRT boards. Sorry but not a real easy repair. Might take some time to trace unless a component is failing. Good Luck

it sounds that have problem in the chroma board ( video board ) a small board that hooked up in the neck of the picture tube. if the color is greenish the cause is dead in red video driver transistor or open resistance. hope this can help good luck.
