Check your speaker balance in the configurations section of you audio icon make sure its evenly balanced. If it is then it quit possibly the right speaker has gone bad, you can purchase them at any local computer shop. I would strongly suggest cleaning out your input port using spray designed for pod cleaning use nothing else get this at local Radio Shack for the headphones jack and recording mic as well, odds are the right speaker blew out. Take it in if you have never taking apart a laptop.

It might have been disconnected from the board or the driver has not been installed.

Car Audio

Swap wires between speakers and to make sure it is not the amp, the head unit or wiring. If the right speaker still doesn't work touch a 9v battery to the speaker terminals for a second to verify if the speaker is good or bad (a pop the speaker is working nothing the speaker is bad)replace. Otherwise check the wiring between the amp and the head unit. If all the wiring is good you may have a bad channel in your amp(bad internal connection or bad component(s)) or last there could be a bad channel output on your head unit. If that is your only right speaker and you don't have one in the door and you use an ipod as a source check the cord!

Rear right speaker doesn't work, no matter what we tried. We switched the speaker and cables with one of the others, but just that position (surround right) doesn't work.

(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there also if you have the right ones selected

try swapping the speakers around if the problem still persists either the speaker is faulty
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the CPU central processing unit and your sound card dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems
hope this helps

I just bought a microsoft wireless keyboard 3000 and inserted the USB into the hub. But now when I play a youtube video the sound comes from the laptop instead of the external speakers like it used to. ...

First, you can try unplugging and replugging the speakers. If that doesn't work, right-click on the speaker icon in the taskbar (lower right-hand corner) and select "Playback Devices". When the window opens, you should see your internal and external speakers listed. (Maybe Internal Speakers and "Headphones") Just right-click the option that says corresponds to your speakers and select "Set as Default Device". Close your web browser and re-open it. This should fix the problem.

Toyota Corolla 1997 I've installed kickers in the rear (KS series to match the front)... had those going for a couple of weeks with no problems. Yesterday i went to install the KS400 series in the...

take one of the front speakers out and pull out the head unit and unplug a set of audio wires(front right, front left ect.) and hook it up directly from the radio to the speaker there for bypassing all the cars wires. If it works then there's a problem with the car's wiring(maybe an inline amp). If it doesn't work, then try a known good speaker from somewhere else(home stereo speaker for example) and connect it to the radio, if the speaker works, your radio is fine and there may be a problem with the speakers. If it doesn't work then you have a problem with the head unit.

My pc left speaker didn't work. no sounds.

If one speaker doesn't work, then I would check the audio with another set of speakers. It could also be the sound balance that is turned all the way to the right. You can change the volume and balance in the control panel and sounds icon.

My lenovo y 430 has no sound for hedset & subwoofer doesn`t work. ... and right speaker works but left one doesn`t what should i do?

Make sure that the correct playback device is set as default in sound properties.
If all is well there then you could try a pair of headphones to see if the sound is working.
If headphones work ok then it is down to your built in speakers, not much you can do unfortunatly unless you are still under warentee
