Unplug the machine. Unscrew the 3 screws under the front edge of the washer. The service technician manual is attached to the panel that slides down and off. Find F21 code. See suggested procedures. Note: My drain pump filter had a baby wash cloth in it along with some change that was disrupting the flow. It is exceptionally easy to remove, clean, and reinstall. Just line up installation notches when reinstalling. Whirlpool should have mentioned this filter in the User & Care Guide, but I could not find it anywhere in there.

FYI: The pump cleanout is located on the front of the machine, bottom right corner. There are only three screws holding the bottom cover on. It is easy to get to if you prop it up a few inches off the ground. Just thought this would be helpful as I just did this as of 5 min ago. Should take 10 min. or less.

SOURCE: Whirlpool Duet Sport Front loading washer and dryer with error code

An easy Fix. Take off the kick panel, 3 screws 1/4 inch. Make sure you have a shop vac ready or a lot of towels as there will be some water. Always disconnect power to washer and dryer, and turn off water to washer. Your filter most likely is clogged with change, screws, lint, and other household stuff that we leave in our pockets! Unscrew the cap on the filter, easy to find, since you have the kick panel off! Take everything out of the filter. Take your shop vac and **** out remaining stuff in hose. Also, **** up any water that has leaked in and around the washer. Screw the cap back on hand tight, put the kick panel back on, turn your water back on, plug it in and there you go! Maybe takes an hour and saves you a repair bill. If you are not comfortable with this procedure then call a maintenance person that is qualified. 775f844.jpg

SOURCE: F20 CODE Whirlpool Duet Sport Washer wfw8300sw00

Hi!

“F20” on display
(Water Inlet Problem—no water or insufficient
water supply) Select PAUSE/CANCEL twice to cancel the cycle
Unplug washer or disconnect power. Check the following: Are water faucets completely turned on?
Are screens at inlet hose connection to washer
clogged? Are water inlet hoses kinked? Are water inlet hoses frozen?
Do rate the solution.

Thanks
Rylee

SOURCE: error code f22 whirlpool duet wash cycle

f22 is a door lock error try this hit cancel turn your dial to another setting, hit start and once it starts hit cancel again and it should unlock. thats what i did anyway.
If you're getting an F22 error, you will want to check anything to do with the door latch switch.

Maytag dishwasher runs for 4 seconds and stops. FIELD SERVICE CHECK did not render the promised 2 lights flashing to show what was at fault - feel its the turbidity sensor- HOW CAN I BE SURE>

I am not familiar with the model but I doubt it - few people these days use the highly inefficient soap dispenser, preferring to add detergent directly into the wash drum.
I suggest you read the instruction booklet.

Why would a whirlpool duet sport model number WFW8300SW05 starts fine stops during cycle. No error codes door locked red light on water in machine.

you have a plugged or partial plugged drain pump for sure. maybe there is a 20 stuck in it this time! easy to find just follow the drain hose back and you will find your pump.
also could be the cycle your using has a bad area in timing cct. check a different cycle like the delicate cycle and that will confirm pump or cycle

Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today.Remove the three screws holding the top on remove the top of the machine and start a load and make sure the motor on top of the dispenser is not just stuck.Sometimes you will just have to bend the arm its about 3inches long white plastic piece and the problem will be fixed unless the actuator motor itself failed you would have to replace it.The part that you can arch up a little that usually fixes it is part number 7 in this picture http://lookup.bellparts.com/diagramenlarge/whirlpool/47215/00000753 but this seems like the sound you are describing.

Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today.
The F30 code refers to a failure of the dispenser motor. If you bend an upward arch on part number 7 in this diagram sometimes it fixes the issue or you may have to replace number 8 http://lookup.bellparts.com/diagramenlarge/whirlpool/47215/00000753

My Whirlpool washer flashed F30. Not filling up with water.

Hi,
"F30" indicates "DISPENSER SYSTEM ERROR" When the dispenser motor cannot be driven to its proper position this error appears in your washer. To fix this problem follow these procedures.
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 2. Check mechanical linkage from dispenser motor to the top of the dispenser. 3. Check wire harness connections to the dispenser motor and Central Control Unit (CCU). 4. Check dispenser motor for powered rotations.

Thank you !!

F30 was the code. Now we are just hearing strange clicking sounds from the top of the front loader washing machine. Any ideas/suggestions?

you need to check mechanical linkage from dispenser motor to the top of the dispenser. Then check wire harness connection to the CCU board. Check dispenser motor to see if it is getting power. After all that unplug unit for 30 mins,,,,,,, then try again
