Does the PC turn off at all or just not the light. If it's just the power light on the tower, Check the connections between the tower to the motherboard and make sure they didn't get moved when the power supply got replaced.

The brake light wire leaves the brake switch and goes into the turn signal switch. They often share the same wire: the rear turn signals and the brake lights. When turning, that side is routed through the turn flasher, but you get a steady brake light on the other side.
So you have power to the brake switch. Pull apart the connector for the turn signal switch, and see if you have power in on the brake wire (with brake depressed of course) going into the turn switch. If you have power in, plug the connector together, and see if you can backprobe the connector with test light or voltmeter, looking for power out to the rear brake lights. If power in, but no power out, the turn switch is probably bad.

Have you tried turning it on using your adapter? If there is still no power light, try removing the power jack in the laptop and the power cable in the adapter and re-insert it both then plug it then test it again. If there is still no power light, try bending slowly the power jack cable in the laptop while inserted and slowly bend and move until you reach the power adapter. Observe the power light while bending the cable. If the light turns on while bending, the wire/s on the cable might be cut where you bend and see the power light turning on. If there's still no power light, your power adapter or the laptops power supply might be defective.

Indication of Router Lights:

• Power light blinks. If LAN or WAN cable is plugged in, their respective lights will flash on activity.
• Power light turns off for several seconds.
• All lights, except power light, turn on and then off.
• Power light blinks slowly, then faster, and WLAN light will turn on.
• Once Power light and WLAN light are on solid, the router is fully rebooted.

A working router should show solid green power light. upgrade the firmware of the router.

Check cable connections.

Try unplugging router from power for five minutes.

If that does not work call Internet Service provider to check if there is a problem with their server.
