Worx WG787 lawn mower issue

Blade only spins very slowly and the battery is showing as fully charged. There is also a click in the start up panel. I've checked under the blade and it doesn't appear to be jammed up with anything and it was running perfectly last time it was used. Please help!

SOURCE: Problem mowing my lawn.

I had the same problem and I already found those recommended solutions\ causes on the web:
1. The motor isn't on full throttle.
2. The blade is upside down.
3. The grass is too high when cutting it.
4. Overlap your cuts.

It helped my problem/ I hope it will help yours too!

SOURCE: Mower hit a big rock and stoped running

If you hit something hard enough to partially shear the key on the blade adapter, you did shear the key on the flywheel, and it will need to be replaced for the engine to run properly.

SOURCE: Cant remove blade on lawn mower

Follow directions. See if this works;

Blade Maintenance
Warning! Switch off, remove the isolator
key, battery and grassbox before adjusting
or cleaning.
Always wear gardening gloves when handling
or working near the sharp blades.
Turn the machine on its right side and inspect
the blade; if blunt or damaged, replace.
Use the following procedure to remove and replace
the blade:
Insert a screwdriver into hole 26 to lock the
drive. Hold the blade 30 using gardening gloves
(not provided) and use a spanner (not provided)
to remove the blade bolt 29, blade washer 28
and blade 30.
Fit the blade 30, blade washer 28 and the blade
bolt 29. Ensure that the blade is the correct way
up (so that this symbol can be seen located
as in figure I) and tighten the bolt 29 firmly.
Ensure the screwdriver is removed before attempting
to turn the machine on.

If this procedure does not work then try the following;

It is not uncommon for the blade bolt to become seized onto the shaft due to all the gunk and moisture on the underside of the deck. Try to soak the bolt several times over with penetrating oil ( WD 40, PB Blaster, etc). Spray the bolt head, the top of the blade where it contacts the shaft, etc. Do this several times and let the penetrating oil soak in. Hit the bolt head gently several times with a hammer to loosen up the corrosion. Then try to remove the bolt per directions.
Hope this helps, if so Please rate, Thanks, and Good Luck!

SOURCE: cub cadet riding mower blade won't turn on

If the click you hear is the electric PTO engaging, then your deck belt is broken or off a pulley some where. Check the belt & then clarify if needed

How to remove motor cover Black & Decker lawn mower EMAX32

Before you start removing covers and panels unplug the mower. Turn the mower over and carefully try to spin the blade by hand. Your checking to where the issue is most likely to be.
Does the motor sound different when you pull the Start trigger? If it sounds a lot faster than normal, it could be an issue between the motor and gearbox.
Does the blade spin really easily and feel like it's not bolted down? Does the blade not turn at all like it's 'locked' or 'jammed'?
- A loose or floppy blade is commonly the centre mount bolt for the blade is loose or the blade isn't seated correctly.
- A 'locked' blade could be a gearbox or a motor issue.

How do I check a battery operated mower? It stopped working.

Have a close look at the blade. It may have jammed up with a stone or stick or something and melted the inside mounting. The blade may be spinning on the shaft and not actually be turning by the motor now.

Worx 17'' Cordless Lawn Mower (Model WG787). I've got a barely three month old lawnmower and the battery is fully charged yet the blade only barely spins. Seems to be virtually no power despite the charged...

The batteries are defective in this unit. It should be returned to the dealer that you purchased it from and get exchanged, or your money back. Another way to test this mower is to charge the batteries fully, then test them. If they are truly fully charged, run the mower until it slows down, and test the batteries again. If they are still charged, (unlikely) then the problem is in the motor itself and still should be returned.

My worx 24volt mower just about stopped. the batter says its full charged (all green lights) but it barely spins. also the battery is really really hot. Almost too hot to touch it.

The battery is overheating and is shutting down as a safety measure. If allowed to continue overheating, you risk it becoming a fire hazard.

You will need to replace the battery and dispose of this one accordingly.
