SOURCE: Need a wiring diagram for connecting KOSS HD 50 COmputer speakers

Hello there! lellya
First,
1) you have to tell , what kind of sound card you got? on board audio? A7, or Creative Audigy? 5.1 or regular.
2) then, you have to connect one speaker to the other, one two way connector cable, for the 2 KOSS speakers.
3) another cable that goes in back of your koss and from the out of your KOSS Speakers to the input of your sound card, at back of your PC, this input is your sound card jack.
4) its supose to work like so.
good luck

SOURCE: Only one speaker working - acer computer speakers

1 step: kindly check the connection of the left speaker if it is plugged to the right speaker properly.
2 step: Then check the balance under volume control if it has been set in the middle.
3 step: If possible check the speaker on some other device(cd player etc) other than your pc and see if the left speaker still doesn't have any sound.
if so kindly replace them

How do I hook up my lifestyle 20 . I bought it second hand and my speakers have wires.

Hi Mark,

I'm assuming you have the original speaker cables that came with the system (it looks like the connectors on the small speaker side are not standard connectors). If that is the case, the two smaller speakers should connect to the Left and Right 'Output to Cube Speakers' plugs on the larger subwoofer box. A 3rd cable from that subwoofer box should connect from the "audio input" connector on that box to the to the "Speaker zone 1" plug on the main unit.

Plug both the main unit and the subwoofer into power outlets, turn them both on and you should be all set. If you click on the link below, pages 7 - 8 of the owner's guide have a good description and pictures of this configuration. The rest of that guide may come in handy too.

I hope this helps,

Unable to receive optimum output. The bass is totally flat !

Hi, ok the Bose Acoustimass III system consists of two small cube speakers and one subwoofer unit called the Acoustimass bass module. If the subwoofer stops working, three points can be the cause of the failure. The Bose Acoustimass III is a passive system, meaning the speakers do not power themselves, but instead are connected to a receiver or amplifier. Thus, the amplifier, the speaker between the amplifier and the subwoofer, or the subwoofer itself could be the issue.

Things You'll Need:

* Amplifier
* Speaker cable
* Extra subwoofer

Instructions

Disconnect the speaker cable from the back of the Bose Accoustimass bass module and connect it to a subwoofer that is known to be working. If the subwoofer works, the bass module needs to be replaced.

Disconnect the speaker cable from the back of the receiver or amplifier you are using and from the back of the subwoofer in Step 1.

Connect a speaker cable that is known to be working between the back of the receiver or amplifier and the back of the Accoustimass module. If the module starts working, then the cable was the issue.

Disconnect the speaker cable from Step 3 from the back of the amplifier or receiver, then connect the cable to the subwoofer port on the back of an amplifier or receiver that is known to be working. If the subwoofer works, the receiver was the issue. If the subwoofer still does not work, verify that the speaker cable is in the subwoofer port of the receiver/amplifier and that the cable is connected securely to the subwoofer.

If you think you did the connection properly,Fine... If not you can use the manual from the below link and know how to connect it properly..

I HAVE A 1994 BUICK GRAND SPORT. I WANT TO HOOK A STERIO UP BUT THE STERIO THAT CAME WITH THE BUICK HAS A DOUBLE COMMPONET SET UP . HOW DO I BYPASS THAT AND HOOK UP THE CD PLAYER TO THE SPEAKERS?

1) Understand the basics of all car stereo systems. A car stereo system consists of 4 main components and the wiring that connects them. These are the head unit, the main speakers, optional amplifiers and the subwoofers, which are also optional but generally considered a necessary part of any good system. 2) Know that the core of any car stereo is the head unit, which is the cassette or CD player that goes in the dash. All the other components are connected to the head unit by at least one pair of wires. 3) Know about car speakers. The main speakers are usually 2 in the front and 2 in the back, although with what are known as component speakers, each speaker is broken down into two speakers: one for the highs and one for the bass. Each speaker or speaker set (known as a channel) connects to the head unit via a pair of wires. Generally if you are installing a new head unit you want to install new speakers. 4) Know about amplifiers. Amplifiers provide extra power to your speakers and/or extra channels of power for additional speakers. The most common use for an amplifier (amp) is to power subwoofers. The amp connects to your head unit via an RCA cable and often a "remote on" wire, and also connects directly to your car battery through a fused "hot" wire and to the car's chassis with a short ground wire. This article assumes the use of a single amplifier connected to a pair of subwoofers. If you do not have these components simply ignore the steps specific to the amp, doing so will not affect the rest of your installation. 5) Know about subwoofers. Subwoofers are part of any good stereo system. They provide the deep bass that small speakers cannot achieve. Subwoofers are connected to the amplifier which can usually be mounted right to the subwoofer box. If you do not have subwoofers you can simply ignore the steps specific to them. Which connections is the negative on these

most car stereo speakers have two connectors, one thinner and one wider. the wider one is typically the positive connection. to verify this, take a small 1.5v battery, and hold a wire to the negative and positive sides (it's easiest to use a battery case available at many electronic stores), connect the negative wire to the smaller connector, and tap the positive wire to the wider connector. if the speaker pops outward, then the thinner connector is the negative connector.

How do i wire mtx 9500 subs 2 10'' down to a one ohm

THE T9510-04 SUBS ARE SINGLE COIL SUBS AND YOU CAN VIEW THAT WIRING DIAGRAM AT THE FOLLOWING LINK:
http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/subwoofers/TechData_T9510-04.pdf

THE T9510-44 SUBS ARE DUAL VOICE-COIL SUBS AND YOU CAN VIEW THAT WIRING DIAGRAM AT THE FOLLOWING LINK:
http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/subwoofers/TechData_T9510-44.pdf

SINCE YOU NEED A 1 OHM LOAD, I PRESUME BRIDGED AND ARE USING TWO SUBS, THEN HOPEFULLY YOU HAVE THE DUAL VOICE COIL TYPE, AS THEY ARE DUAL 4 OHM AND YOU WILL HAVE TO CONNECT THE VOICE-COILS IN PARALLEL WHICH WILL MAKE EACH SPEAKER A 2 OHM SPEAKER AND THEN CONNECT THE TWO SPEAKERS THEMSELVES IN PARALLEL AND THIS WILL PROVIDE YOU THE 1 OHM LOAD. IF YOU IN FACT HAVE THE SINGLE 4 OHM VOICE COIL VERSION, THEN IT WILL ONLY PARALLEL THE PAIR DOWN TO 2 OHMS. OK. LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED FURTHER ASSISTANCE.....V

'05 Chevy Z-71 w/ BOSE stereo upgrade. How can I wire the BA-200 ?

Unfortunately, it's not as simple as a crossover. Bose gets its name from making complete systems - meaning - Bose speakers work right because the amplifier is custom built for those speakers, and the deck is custom built for the amplifier- all Bose from beginning to end. The only way to bypass any part of a Bose system is to bypass the whole system, including amp, deck, subs, speakers, eq's, and start over from scratch, unless you are an electrical engineer and can meter components and evaluate them. Bose often has 1 or 1/2 ohm speakers which will not work with after market systems.  If you go to a Bose store, the only system that sounds good is the lifestyle system because it is Bose from beginning to end, just as an example. They are either cheaters or geniuses

Subwoofer VERY weak

According to the KLH manual for the 9906 "6 pack" with the BassBite sub... it says "if your sub is connected via the speaker - level terminals, your reciever must be set for "NO" subwoofer - even though you are using one. VErify proper polarity on your speaker connection wires. (red or gold to +, black or silver to -). Depending on how you have your woofer connected to the reciever, if connected to a reciever without a subwoofer out then set your reciever for LARGE speakers and turn the subwoofer setting "OFF". Failure to do so will result in little to no bass. If you do have a subwoofer out from your reciever adjust your speaker size setting to small or large speakers as appropriate. Set the recievers sub output to ON. Connecting small speakers to a reciever set for LArge speakers can result in damage to small speakers.

Hope this helps.
